Abstract: Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to a method and apparatus for acquiring and providing information related to a state of an electronic device in Wireless Access in Vehicular Environment (WAVE) communication. According to various embodiments, the electronic device may include a communication module, at least one sensor, and a processor. The processor may be configured to identify a state related to a movement of the electronic device by using the at least one sensor, wherein the identifying of the state related to the movement includes transmitting information related to the movement to an external electronic device by using the communication module, and transmit, to the external electronic device, the information related to the movement and information related to the state change by using the communication module if the state related to the movement is changed. Various embodiments are possible.

Abstract: A portable communication device is provided. A communication connection is established with a first external device. A telephone call function using is deactivated, based at least in part on a determination that the portable communication device is communicatively coupled with the first external device and that a cellular communication circuitry of the first external device is available. While the telephone call function is deactivated, a telephone call is performed with respect to a second external device using the communication connection and a cellular communication between the first external device and the second external device. The cellular communication is established via the cellular communication circuitry of the first external device.

Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention may comprise: a housing including a hole formed therethrough; an earphone jack built in the housing such that an earphone plug is received therein through the hole; a gas sensor integrally formed with the earphone jack; a memory positioned inside the housing; and a processor positioned inside the housing and electrically connected with the earphone jack, the gas sensor, and the memory, wherein the memory stores instructions by which, when executed, the processor: controls the gas sensor to obtain data related to a specific component of the outside air; and causes the gas sensor to calculate a cleanliness level of the outside air on the basis of at least one of data obtained before a predetermined measurement disturbance element is generated and data obtained after the measurement disturbance element is removed. Other various embodiments are also possible.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a power management circuit which supplies power from a battery to electronic components, a battery management circuit which controls connection between the battery and the power management circuit, a physical key formed on a part of the electronic device, a key control circuit which controls connection between the physical key and the battery management circuit, and a processor connected to the power management circuit. The processor is configured to transmit a signal for powering off the electronic device to the power management circuit, and when the electronic device is powered off, to control the key control circuit to connect the physical key with the battery management circuit. The power management circuit is configured to, when receiving the signal for powering off the electronic device, control the battery management circuit to disconnect the battery from the one or more electronic components included in the electronic device.
