Abstract: A processing circuitry is configured to generate a first analysis result based on a size of a partial area of a target area when the partial area is captured by only one of a first sensor or a second sensor, based on first image data for the target area captured by the first sensor and second image data for the target area captured by the second sensor, and generate first final image data or second final image data by using the first image data and the second image data, based on the first analysis result. A difference between the first final image data and the second final image data is based on a difference between a first characteristic of the first sensor and a second characteristic of the second sensor.

Abstract: A method of setting light sources in a display panel for optical fingerprint recognition is provided. The method includes driving a portion of light sources disposed to correspond to a fingerprint recognition window which is a partial region of a display panel based on initial light source setting values, obtaining initial calibration data based on reflected light of an object received by a fingerprint recognition sensor through the fingerprint recognition window while driving the portion of the light sources; and determining final light source setting values such that powers for driving light sources of different colors among the portion of the light sources are different, the final light source setting values being determined to minimize contrast of an interference signal included in the initial calibration data.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for a tetracell image sensor that performs diamond binning to process image data. An image sensor includes a pixel array and a converting circuit, where the pixel array includes pixel sets arranged in a row direction and a column direction, outputs a first signal generated from a first pixel set of the pixel sets, and outputs a second signal generated from a second pixel set of the pixel sets. The converting circuit performs binning based on the first signal and the second signal to generate a first binning signal. Each of the first pixel set and the second pixel set includes pixel sensors adjacent to each other, and the first pixel set and the second pixel set are located at different rows and different columns.

Abstract: An image sensor including a pixel array including a plurality of sub-pixels arranged along a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns, and k number of sub-pixels representing one color pixel in conjunction with each other, where k is an integer equal to or greater than four and calibration circuitry may be provided. The calibration circuitry may be configured to receive digital image signal generated based on pixel signals output from the pixel array, calculate a color gain of the digital image signal based on a coefficient set calculated based on a reference image signal generated by a reference image sensor under a first light source having a first color temperature, store coefficient sets associated with a plurality of color temperatures including the first color temperature, and apply the color gain to the digital image signal to generate a calibrated image signal.
