Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus, which enhance a quality of an ultrasound image to provide an improved image. An adaptive demodulation method includes acquiring input radio frequency (RF) data, quadrature-demodulating the input RF data to output an inphase-quadrature (IQ) signal, determining a valid region for the input RF data, and estimating attenuation of a frequency of the IQ signal, based on data included in the valid region among the input RF data and performing frequency compensation corresponding to the estimated attenuation of the frequency.
Abstract:
A method of and apparatus for processing ultrasound data acquired from an object is provided. With the methods and apparatuses of the exemplary embodiments, speckles in an ultrasound image are reduced by using scan line information of an ultrasound signal applied to the object prior to scan conversion of the ultrasound image.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes: an image receiver which receives a predetermined image obtained by photographing a fetus; and a controller which detects a head region and a torso region of the fetus from the predetermined image, and which models a shape of the fetus by using at least one of a first contoured shape corresponding to the detected head region, a second contoured shape corresponding to the detected torso region, a first axis that is the central axis of the detected head region, and a second axis that is the central axis of the detected torso region, to model the fetus so that biometric data of the fetus can be easily measured.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for operating an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. The method includes transmitting separate first and second ultrasonic signals to an object, receiving a first echo signal which corresponds to the first ultrasonic signal and a second echo signal which corresponds to the second ultrasonic signal, separating the received first and second echo signals in order to generate first ultrasonic data which corresponds to the first echo signal and second ultrasonic data which corresponds to the second echo signal, and displaying a first ultrasonic image which is generated based on the first ultrasonic data and a second ultrasonic image which is generated based on the second ultrasonic data. The first ultrasonic image is an ultrasonic image of a first cross-sectional surface of the object, and the second ultrasonic image is an ultrasonic image of a second cross-sectional surface of the object.
Abstract:
An image processing method and an image processing apparatus are provided. The image processing method measures a myocardial performance index (MPI), the image processing method including: obtaining a region of interest (ROI) for measuring the MPI, based on signal levels of an input signal and an output signal of a heart spectrum image; obtaining a plurality of marker areas, within the obtained ROI, wherein at least one marker for measuring the MPI is located in each of the plurality of marker areas, based on at least one from among a feature value of the input signal and a feature value of the output signal; and obtaining the at least one marker for each of the plurality of marker areas.
Abstract:
A method for measuring biometrics of an object includes receiving an image of an object, modeling the object to identify a portion of the object, and measuring biometrics of the object based on a modeling result the object.
