    Abstract: An operation method for reducing energy consumption and an electronic apparatus thereof are provided. The operation method includes obtaining, by the electronic apparatus, weather forecast information, inputting, by the electronic apparatus, the weather forecast information to an artificial intelligence model for predicting an amount of power to be consumed by a first air conditioner, and displaying, by the electronic apparatus, the predicted power consumption amount of the first air conditioner output from the artificial intelligence model, wherein the artificial intelligence model is trained to obtain correlation information between a weather condition and a power consumption amount of an air conditioner, based on a weather history and operations of a plurality of air conditioners related to the weather history, and predict the amount of power to be consumed by the first air conditioner based on the correlation information and the weather forecast information.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments may include: a battery, a switch coupling the battery to a main board on which components of the electronic device are disposed, a power management module comprising power management circuitry including a function of powering on the electronic device at a power-on time set to power on the electronic device that is in a power-off state of the electronic device, and a processor. The processor may be configured to: upon identification of a power-off request for the electronic device, set the power-on time and power off the electronic device, based on the electronic device being powered on upon identification of the power-on time, compare a power-off period of the electronic device with a threshold period, and based on the power-off period of the electronic device being longer than a threshold period, decouple the battery from the main board by opening the switch.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device includes: a display; a near-field wireless communication circuit configured to repetitively transmit a scan signal for finding an access point; a processor electrically connected to the communication circuit; and a memory electrically connected to the processor, wherein, during execution, the memory can store commands for allowing the processor to set a transmission period of the scan signal as a first period, to determine whether it is necessary to adjust a scan frequency on the basis of a trigger for turning on the display when the display is turned on, to maintain the transmission period as the first period when the scan frequency adjustment is not necessary, and to change the transmission frequency to a second period shorter than the first period, when the scan frequency adjustment is necessary.
