Abstract:
A backlight unit of a display apparatus, the backlight unit includes a light source unit disposed on at least one edge of a display panel; and a light guide plate disposed at rear of the display panel. The light guide plate includes a first pattern part including a plurality of first pattern lines formed on a lower surface of the light guide plate, and which extend perpendicularly to a transmission direction of the radiated light, and which totally reflect the radiated light to an upper surface of the light guide plate, and a second pattern part including a plurality of second pattern lines formed on the upper surface of the light guide plate, and which extend parallel with the transmission direction of the radiated light, and which guide light transmitted in the light guide plate to travel and exit along the second pattern lines.
Abstract:
A microfluidic device comprising a first substrate including a micro-flow path and a valve seat protruding into the micro-flow path, a second substrate coupled to the first substrate and including a cavity aligned with the valve seat, and a valve gate film provided between the first substrate and the second substrate, such that the valve gate film opens and closes the micro-flow path with air pressure applied to the cavity, wherein a surface of the valve seat is separated from the valve gate film at the initial stage such that the micro-flow path is opened at the initial stage, and the valve gate film moves to be in contact with the surface of the valve seat so that the micro-flow path is closed when air pressure is applied to the cavity.
Abstract:
Provided is clock signal generator configured to generate a target output clock signal based on a reference clock signal, the clock signal generator includes a digital-to-time converter (DTC) configured to delay a reference clock signal based on an input code to generate a delay clock signal, and output the delay clock signal, a DTC controller configured to determine an initial gain value of the DTC based on a result of comparing at least one delay amount of the DTC with a period of a previously generated output clock signal, and generate the input code based on the initial gain value, and a phase locked loop configured to generate the target output clock signal based on the delay clock signal and a division clock signal of the previously generated output clock signal, the target output clock signal being locked to the delay clock signal.
Abstract:
A recombinant microorganism comprising a lactic acid (LA) transporter, wherein the expression of the LA transporter in the recombinant microorganism is increased relative to a parent microorganism, and a method of producing lactic acid using same.
