    Abstract: An electronic device includes a body including a first portion and a second portion, a display including a first display area and a second display area, and a processor embedded inside the body. The first portion and the second portion rotate about a rotation axis. The first display area is disposed in the first portion. The second display area is disposed in the second portion. The processor is configured to execute a plurality of applications in the first display area by a first division line in a state where the body is folded by rotation of the first portion and the second portion and to execute the plurality of applications in the first display area and the second display area by a second division line parallel to the rotation axis in a state where the body is unfolded by the rotation of the first portion and the second portion.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments may comprise: a first housing including a first surface and a second surface facing away from the first surface; a second housing including a third surface and a fourth surface facing away from the third surface; a folding part pivotably connecting a side surface of the first housing and a side surface of the second housing facing the side surface of the first housing; a flexible display disposed on the first and third surfaces across the folding part, having a first area corresponding to the first surface and a second area corresponding to the third surface; and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured to: display a first screen within the first area and display a second screen within the second area, in a first state in which the first housing and the second housing are folded out by means of the folding part; recognize that the state of the electronic device is changed from the first state to a second state in which the first housing and the second housing are folded in by means of the folding part; in response to the recognition, cease displaying the second screen within the second area, and detect an input to the second area while ceasing the displaying of the second screen within the second area; and in response to the detection, display the second screen transferred from the first screen within the first area.
