Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a battery; a display receiving power from the battery; a memory electrically connected to the display; and a processor electrically connected to the memory, wherein, the memory is configured to store instructions causing the processor to, when executed, identify a power state of the battery based on a request for a mobile payment, when the power state is within a first range, receive power from a wireless charger capable of performing wireless communication with the electronic device, and when the power state is within a second range due to the reception of the power, perform the mobile payment.
