A method and wearable device are provided. The wearable device includes a movement detection unit, a position detection unit, a wireless communication unit, a biometric information detection unit, a memory, and a processor, which implements the method, including determining an acquisition condition for acquiring biometric information, based on at least one of: setting information stored in the memory, movement information from a movement detection unit, location information from a position detection unit, information from a wireless communication unit, and information from a biometric information detection unit indicating wearing or non-wearing of the wearable device, storing the determined acquisition condition and the biometric information, comparing the stored biometric information with a predesignated setting value, determining an additional acquisition condition for acquiring biometric information in accordance with the comparison result, and controlling the wearable device or another electronic device communicatively coupled with the wearable device in accordance with the comparison result.

An electronic device and method are disclosed herein. The electronic device includes a sensor module configured to recognize boarding and alighting of a passenger from the vehicle, a network interface configured to communicate with a mobile device disposed in the vehicle, a memory, storing a program including one or more instructions, and a processor. The processor implements the method, including: detecting alighting of the passenger using the sensor module, or when a mobile device disconnects from the network interface, determining, by the processor, a deletion level for data related to personal information of a passenger, the deletion level based on a use history information of the passenger, including a latest use time and a use frequency, and deleting the data from the memory according to the determined deletion level.

An embodiment of the disclosure relates to a method of detecting the location of a user located in a vehicle, the method including performing pairing between a mobile device of the user and the vehicle, outputting a plurality of sound wave signals respectively from a plurality of speakers located in the vehicle, the plurality of sound wave signal being different from each other in at least one of a frequency band and a time period, and obtaining user location information which is information about a user location detected based on an audio signal received by the mobile device in correspondence to the plurality of sound wave signals.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication module, a memory configured to store multiple recognition algorithms for analyzing user activities, and a processor configured to acquire activity schedule information related to a user activity; select at least one recognition algorithm among the multiple recognition algorithms, at least based on the acquired activity schedule information; and analyze activity information related to the user activity, using the at least one recognition algorithm, thereby providing activity guide information related to the user activity.
