Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a shell and a plurality of tubes. The shell includes a heat exchange region in which a second refrigerant is to be introduced into the shell, so that a heat exchange occurs between the second refrigerant and a first refrigerant which flows through the plurality of tubes. The shell includes an inlet region through which the first refrigerant is introduced into the shell, a reverse region into which the first refrigerant is introduced, after the first refrigerant passes through the heat exchange region, and an outlet region into which the first refrigerant is introduced, after the first refrigerant passes through the reverse region and the heat exchange region, the first refrigerant being discharged out of the shell from the outlet region. The shell includes partition plates to divide the heat exchange region, the inlet region, the reverse region, and the outlet region.

Abstract: A storage device for performing a reliability check by using error correction code (ECC) data is provided. The storage device includes a memory controller configured to detect the number of errors of second read data read out by a second read operation, based on ECC data of first read data read by a first read operation of a memory device. The memory controller includes a memory check circuit that includes a counter configured to count states of memory cells, a comparator configured to compare respective count numbers of the states with one another, and a register configured to store the number of errors based on a result of the comparison.

Abstract: An air conditioner including a distributor capable of adjusting the distribution of fluid flow to branched pipes is provided. The air conditioner includes a distributor configured to distribute a fluid flowing therethrough, and a heat exchanger including refrigerant pipes through which the fluid distributed by the distributor flows, the heat exchanger configured to heat exchange the fluid with air. The distributor includes an outer pipe having a cylindrical shape through which the fluid passes, and branched pipes. Each of the branched pipes includes one end connected to the outer pipe by being inserted into the outer pipe and includes a fluid passing part provided to allow the fluid to flow in or out. At least two branched pipes are configured such that at least one of an insertion length and a diameter of the fluid passing part inserted into the outer pipe are different from each other.

Abstract: An air conditioner including a distributor configured to distribute a fluid to a heat exchanger. The distributor comprises a main pipe; a partition defining a plurality of distribution paths in the main pipe; a first branched pipe inserted into the main pipe as much as first length, linked to a first distribution path of the plurality of distribution paths, connected to a first portion of the heat exchanger; and a second branched pipe inserted into the main pipe as much as second length different from the first length, linked to the first distribution path, connected to a second portion of the heat exchanger. A flow velocity of air exchanging heat at the first portion of the heat exchanger is faster than a flow velocity of air exchanging heat at the second portion of the heat exchanger. The first length is shorter than the second length.
