An electronic device mounted in a vehicle, and an method performed thereby are provided. The electronic device may include a touch screen, memory storing at least one instruction, and at least one processor communicatively coupled to the touch screen and the memory. The at least one instruction, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, may cause the electronic device to recognize an input event, based on receiving a multi-touch input or a hover input, of a user with respect to the touch screen, may identify a function corresponding to the input event, based on shape information of a plurality of points and position information of the plurality of points at which the input event is recognized, may change a function value with respect to the identified function, based on a gesture input being recognized via the touch screen, and may display a user interface (UI) indicating the changed function value.

The present invention relates to a motion input device for portable terminal and an operation method using the same. A motion input device of a portable terminal of the present invention includes a sensor unit configured to collect a sensor signal from at least one sensor; an operation recognition unit configured to generate a motion signal corresponding to an operation of portable terminal based on the sensor signal; a scenario preparation unit configured to generate an input scenario based on at least one motion signal; and a scenario mapping unit configured to detect, in a scenario database, a standards scenario corresponding to the input scenario, and to generate an input signal corresponding to the standards scenario.

The electronic apparatus includes an input device including a body configured to be rotatable and pushable and a display disposed on the body; and a processor configured to acquire profile data of a user including preset information for function of the vehicle, control the display to display basic user interface (UI) corresponding to the function of the vehicle based on the acquired profile data of the user, and control a function of the vehicle corresponding to the basic UI in response to receiving an input on the input device.

An electronic device of the present disclosure includes a communication module, a camera module, a sensor module, a driving module, a memory, and a processor that is functionally connected to the communication module, the camera module, the sensor module, the driving module, and the memory, the processor determining at least one service and a goal location of the electronic device for providing the at least one service, planning a path towards the goal location, and controlling the electronic device to move along the path. However, other embodiments are possible as well.

An example electronic device for controlling a base station antenna in a wireless communication system includes a communication unit; and at least one control unit electrically connected to the communication unit. The at least one control unit may be configured so as to acquire location information of another electronic device, determine a threshold value based on the location information, determine a radiation angle corresponding to the threshold value, transmit a steering instruction to a base station so as to control an antenna based on the radiation angle, and determine whether the steering of the antenna based on the radiation angle has been carried out or not.

The disclosure includes an electronic device for displaying, on a camera monitoring system (CMS) side display, a first image representing a surrounding environment image, detecting a lane change signal of the vehicle, and, in response to the detected lane change signal, switching the first image displayed on the CMS side display to a second image representing a top view image showing locations of the vehicle and a surrounding vehicle in a virtual image as looking down from above the vehicle, and displaying the second image, and displaying a lane change user interface (UI) indicating information about whether a lane change is possible on the second image, and an operation method thereof.

The method and apparatus including a display unit configured to be a bendable flexible display and a touch panel integrally configured with the display unit for detecting touch input. The method and apparatus includes: detecting bending of a display unit configured by a flexible display; dividing a display region of the display unit based on the bending location when the bending of the display unit is detected; and displaying separate display data on the divided display regions by separating the display data.
