Abstract:
A method of providing medical imaging guidance information for use in operating a medical imaging apparatus detects motion of an examinee placed on a support table positioned for imaging by a medical imaging device. The method compares a level of the detected motion with a predetermined threshold value and adaptively selects and provides guidance information enabling reducing impairment of image quality due to examinee physical motion, in response to the comparison.
Abstract:
A pulse verifying apparatus including a user input unit, which obtains a set value of a parameter for determining a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) pulse sequence; a control unit, which compares the set value of the parameter to a critical value of the parameter and, based on a result of the comparison, determines whether an error occurred with respect to the parameter; and a display unit, which, if an error occurred with respect to the parameter, displays information regarding the error on a pulse sequence diagram corresponding to a MRI pulse sequence generated based on the set value of the parameter.
Abstract:
A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus and a method of operating the MRI apparatus. The MRI apparatus includes: a monitoring unit configured to monitor an operation of the MRI apparatus; and a control unit configured to determine one of a plurality of power modes for the MRI apparatus based on the monitored operation and control the MRI apparatus to operate in the determined power mode.
Abstract:
A method of providing information for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) includes: performing an imaging of a patient by executing a sequence including a plurality of protocols; and providing, to the patient, threshold related information about a motion of the patient which corresponds to a currently executed protocol, of the plurality of protocols.
Abstract:
A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus and a method of generating an MR image that may be generated in a resource saving mode by taking into account energy efficiency. The method includes: setting a resource saving mode; acquiring, based on the set resource saving mode, at least one description corresponding to a plurality of imaging filters; and generating a first MR image based on the acquired at least one description.
Abstract:
A medical imaging apparatus includes: an output unit configured to display a magnetic resonance (MR) image matrix in which MR images, obtained by performing magnetic resonance imaging on a heart, are arranged in columns and rows; and an image processor configured to display at least one first indicator which indicates a column of the MR image matrix corresponding to at least one of end diastole and end systole and display at least one second indicator which indicates a row of the MR image matrix corresponding to at least one of an apex and a base of the heart, wherein the columns of the MR image matrix are arranged according to time when MR images included in the columns are captured, and the rows of the MR image matrix are arranged according to a position on a longitudinal axis of the heart corresponding to MR images included in the rows.
Abstract:
A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus includes a radio frequency (RF) coil configured to receive a magnetic resonance (MR) signal emitted from an object; a sampling pattern determiner configured to determine a sampling pattern of k-space based on a sensitivity of the RF coil and signal region information which is information about a signal region where the MR signal is generated; and a digital data obtainer configured to obtain digital data of the k-space by sampling the MR signal based on the determined sampling pattern.
