Abstract:
A tomography apparatus includes a data acquirer configured to acquire partial images of an object including a first image and a second image having imaged a surface of a portion of the object corresponding to a first time and a second time, respectively, by performing a tomography scan on the object that is moving, and acquire first information indicating motion of the object by using the first image and the second image; and an image reconstructor configured to reconstruct a target image by using the first information.
Abstract:
An X-ray imaging method includes obtaining first information including X-ray accumulation amount of an object; determining an imaging protocol for imaging the object based on the received first information; and acquiring an X-ray image of the object based on the determined imaging protocol. The first information including the X-ray accumulation amount of the object is obtained from a device of the object via a short range wireless communication or from an external database based on authentication information input received from the object.
Abstract:
A tomography apparatus includes a data acquirer acquiring a first image and a second image that are partial images, by using data acquired in a first angular section corresponding to a first time point and a second angular section corresponding to a second time and facing the first angular section, by performing a tomography scan on an object that is moving, and acquiring first information indicating a motion amount of the object by using the first image and the second image, and an image reconstructor reconstructing a target image indicating the object at a target time, based on the first information.
Abstract:
A method of providing information for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) includes: performing an imaging of a patient by executing a sequence including a plurality of protocols; and providing, to the patient, threshold related information about a motion of the patient which corresponds to a currently executed protocol, of the plurality of protocols.
Abstract:
An imaging apparatus and a method improving the sensitivity of the imaging apparatus are provided. The imaging apparatus includes a pixel binning unit pixel binning input image data to a given pixel size; a gain determining unit determining a pixel binning gain based on the input image data or the brightness of the input image data; and a calculating unit calculating output image data based on the pixel binned input image data and the pixel binning gain. Accordingly, the resolution of input image data can be preserved and the dynamic range of an image signal under low illumination conditions can be expanded.

Abstract:
A method of providing medical imaging guidance information for use in operating a medical imaging apparatus detects motion of an examinee placed on a support table positioned for imaging by a medical imaging device. The method compares a level of the detected motion with a predetermined threshold value and adaptively selects and provides guidance information enabling reducing impairment of image quality due to examinee physical motion, in response to the comparison.
Abstract:
A medical imaging apparatus and/or method includes a gantry, a control unit, and a display unit. The gantry has a source for generating an X-ray and a detector for detecting the X-ray passing through an object. The gantry allows the source and the detector to rotate around the object. The control unit obtains operational information of the gantry. The display unit outputs the obtained operational information of the gantry.
