The present disclosure provides a method for performing access for a UE. In addition, the present disclosure discloses a data forwarding method and a data forwarding equipment, user equipment and base station. By the technical solutions disclosed in the present disclosure, a UE may help a base station to forward data of other UEs.

摘要: The embodiments of the present disclosure propose a method performed at a first node for transmitting data, comprising: receiving downlink data to be transmitted to a User Equipment (UE) in a non-connected state; and determining whether to buffer the downlink data. The method further comprises: when it is determined that the downlink data is to be buffered, if the first node is a first type of node, determining that a paging procedure is not to be initiated for the UE in the non-connected state, or if the first node is a second type of node, notifying the second node that the downlink data has been buffered, so that the second node determines that the paging procedure is not to be initiated for the UE in the non-connected state. There are further provided a method performed at a second node and corresponding devices and storage media.

In a specific embodiment of the method, a base station receives the UE context from a UE; and the base station, according to the received UE context, performs at least one of: optimizing a service strategy of the base station, optimizing a scheduling mode of the base station; and optimizing a handover procedure for the UE. The embodiment utilizes the UE context to provide the UE with services more effectively.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). According to embodiments, an access and mobility management function (AMF) comprises at least one transceiver; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to receive, a mobility management entity (MME) for an evolved node B (eNB), a message associated with a handover required message for an inter-system handover from an evolved packet system (EPS) to 5G system (5GS) with a secondary gNB (SgNB) used as a target next generation node B (gNB), wherein the SgNB and the target gNB are co-located and the eNB is associated with the SgNB in a dual connectivity; transmit, to the target gNB, a handover request message for the inter-system handover from the EPS to 5GS with the SgNB used as the target gNB; and receive, from the target gNB, an acknowledge of the handover request message. The handover required message includes an SgNB user equipment (UE) X2 application protocol ID (SgNB UE X2AP ID) for identifying a UE over X2 interface in the SgNB. The handover request message includes the SgNB UE X2AP ID, and the SgNB UE X2AP ID is allocated at the SgNB.
