Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication processor, at least one Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) connected thereto, and an antenna connected through the at least one RFIC and configured to transmit and receive a signal corresponding to at least one communication network. The communication processor is configured to control the electronic device to receive a signal corresponding to a first communication network from a first base station corresponding to the first communication network supporting a first frequency band through the antenna, identify information related to a second communication network supporting a second frequency band including at least a portion of the first frequency band, identify a time interval allocated for transmission of data corresponding to the second communication network on the basis of the information related to the second communication network, and operate in a sleep state in the identified time interval.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided in which a base station transmits a synchronization signal (SS) physical broadcast channel (PBCH) block (SSB) associated with a master information block (MIB) including first configuration information for a first control resource set (CORESET) associated with a common search space (CSS). System information is transmitted. The terminal obtains MIB based on the SSB, monitors first control information for scheduling the system information on the CSS based on a first aggregation level, and receives the system information based on the first control information. A radio resource control (RRC) connection is established with the terminal based on the system information. An RRC message is transmitted to the terminal including second configuration information for a second CORESET associated with a UE specific search space (USS), based on the RRC connection. The terminal monitors second control information for the UE on the USS based on a second aggregation level.

According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method of a terminal of a communication system comprises: receiving, from a base station, first downlink control information (DCI) including first priority information; receiving, from the base station, second DCI including second priority information; checking whether a first uplink transmission resource, associated with the first DCI, and a second uplink transmission resource, associated with second DCI, overlap on a time axis; and if the first uplink transmission resource and the second uplink transmission resource overlap on the time axis, carrying out uplink transmission for the higher priority information on the basis of the first priority information and the second priority information.
