    摘要: There is provided a device and method for detecting an overlap of pulse signals, capable of easily detecting a point where reference and delayed pulse signals overlap each other, and an apparatus for estimating a distance using the same. The device for detecting an overlap of pulse signals, the device detecting a point where first and second pulse signals having different frequencies begin to overlap each other, the device including: a duty adjustor generating a third pulse signal by increasing a duty of the second pulse signal; a pulse signal calculator multiplying the first and second pulse signals by the third pulse signal, respectively and adding respective results together to output a signal; and an overlap determiner determining a middle of a pulse with a greatest width in the signal outputted from the pulse signal calculator as a point where the first and second pulse signals overlap each other.

    摘要: Provided is an apparatus and method for generating I/Q signals in a multi-port network, which can generate I/Q signals with accurate coordinates and sizes by repeatedly controlling the coordinates and size of an initial parameter in accordance with a predetermined reference condition. The I/Q signal generating apparatus of a multi-port network includes a multi-port network unit, a signal generation unit, and a control unit. The multi-port network unit converts a receive (RX) signal into a plurality of phase signals with different phases in accordance with a predetermined reference signal. The signal generation unit restores original data on the basis of the power of the phase signals received from the multi-port network unit. The control unit controls the restoration operation of the signal generation unit to be repeated so that the original data restored by the signal generation unit satisfies a predetermined reference range.

    摘要: A location awareness system using RFID and a wireless communication apparatus for the location awareness are provided. The location awareness system includes a RFID tag, a wireless communication apparatus for location awareness, more than three anchors, a coordinator, and a server. The wireless communication apparatus identifies the target object with the RFID attached through communicating with the RFID tag. The anchors receive information about the identified target object and measuring a distance by communication with the wireless communication apparatus using a predetermined wireless communication scheme. The coordinator collects the measure distance and the information from each of the anchors. The server calculates a location of the target object by receiving information about the measured distances and the target objects from the coordinator and calculating the location of the wireless communication apparatus using the received information.

    摘要: Provides is a correlation method for acquiring a synchronization in a wireless local area network (WLAN). In the correlation method, an auto-correlation value is measured in a receive (RX) signal based on the WLAN standard by use of a successive partial short preambles. A time point when the auto-correlation value becomes smaller than a predetermined threshold value is detected. A cross-correlation value for the successive partial short preambles is measured from the time point when the auto-correlation value becomes smaller than the predetermined threshold value. A time point when the cross-correlation value becomes maximum is determined as a reference time point for synchronization acquisition.
