摘要： A decorative light system includes a base and a portable light device capable of communicating with each other to generate a light show. The system includes a base defining a receptacle and including a microcontroller, a transceiver operably coupled to the microcontroller and adapted to generate a control signal, a first power source operably coupled to the microcontroller, and a user interface operably coupled to the microcontroller and including at least one switch for activating the microcontroller. The portable light device has a lower end sized for removable insertion into the base receptacle and includes a housing having at least a portion formed of a translucent material, a first receiver disposed within the housing and responsive to the control signal transmitted by the base transceiver, a first light source disposed within the housing, operably coupled to the receiver, and adapted to direct light toward the translucent portion of the housing, and a second power source disposed within the housing and operably coupled to the light source.

The light device includes a housing having at least a translucent portion formed of a translucent material A first light source is disposed within the housing and is adapted to generate light. 摘要： A replacement device for a light bulb includes a translucent shell and a base. The base supports a plurality of LEDs positioned so as to emit a light show through the shell. The base is configured to be received in a conventional light socket. The base also includes a compartment for receiving and securing a replaceable volatile active cartridge and a heater for enabling the device to effectively emit an active ingredient from the cartridge when the cartridge is secured in the compartment. A white light source is also provided in the shell as a source of illumination. The device can be used as a white light source, for displaying a colored light show and for volatile active emission. The volatile active may be emitted continuously when the device is used as either a white light source or for purposes of displaying a colored light show. Thus, a single device is used as a replacement for a conventional light bulb and is a combination white light source/colored light show source/volatile active source.

摘要： A substitute for a conventional incandescent light bulb includes a CFL with a specially equipped base structure disposed between the male connector and the coiled fluorescent tube. The modified base includes an active vapor dispenser and, preferably, a heater for increasing and/or controlling the rate of active vapor emission. The male connector may be a threaded male Edison-type connector or any other type of male connector for use with female light sockets. The disclosed devices provide an energy-efficient source of white light and controlled active or fragrance emission. The base may also be equipped with one or more electrical connection ports for connection the base to one or more accessories such as volatile active dispensers or colored light emitting devices.
