Abstract:
A wireless communication device to be wirelessly connected to a wireless network is provided. The wireless communication device includes an encryption examiner to examine as to whether communication in the wireless network is encrypted, a password obtainer to obtain a password designated by a user for connecting the wireless communication device to the wireless network if the encryption examiner determines that the communication in the wireless network is encrypted, and a wireless connector to connect the wireless communication device to the wireless network with the use of the obtained password. The wireless connector sequentially selects one set from a plurality of sets, and sequentially attempts to connect the wireless communication device to the wireless network with the use of the sequentially selected one set. Each set of the plurality of sets has an authorization method and an encryption method.
Abstract:
A communication device may receive a first request packet from a first device and receive a second request packet from a second device. The communication device may send a first response packet to the first device in response to the first request packet and send a second response packet to the second device in response to the second request packet. The communication device may decide a timing for sending the second response packet to the second device. The timing may be decided such that a time period from receiving the second request packet to sending the second response packet in response to the second request packet is longer than a time period from receiving the first request packet to sending the first response packet in response to the first request packet. The communication device may send the second response packet to the second device at the decided timing.

A terminal on which a device driver for a device is installed, comprising an obtaining section obtaining, from the device, setting method information for a first IP address that is currently set to the device; and a port generating section generating a port corresponding to the device when the device driver is being installed to the terminal. The port generating section generates the port by using the first IP address currently set to the device in a case where the setting method information indicates a first type of setting method where an IP address is set to the device as a result of an user input of the IP address to the device, and generates the port by using a device name currently set to the device in a case where the setting method information indicates a second type of setting method different from the first type of setting method.
