Moreover, rotation and deformation of plate electrode during assembling of electrode can be prevented by providing the straight line portion to the side beam apertures, aberration of lens to be generated at the main lens portion can be reduced and focus characteristic can also be stablized.

摘要： A cathode ray tube includes an electron gun having a cathode, first and second grid electrodes, plural focus electrodes and an anode electrode fixed by two glass beads; a voltage-dividing resistor attached to one glass bead for producing an intermediate voltage applied to a first one of the plural focus electrodes adjacent to the anode electrode by dividing an anode voltage and a metal conductor attached to one of electrodes of the electron gun disposed upstream of the first one of the plural focus electrodes to surround the voltage-dividing resistor and the glass bead. The voltage-dividing resistor includes an overcoat insulating film, a resistance element and an insulating substrate stacked in the order named from the overcoat insulating film facing the glass bead, and the resistance element includes first-type resistance-forming regions disposed on opposite sides of the metal conductor and a second-type resistance-forming region containing a portion thereof facing the metal conductor. The resistance element in the first-type resistance-forming regions extends meanderingly in a direction of a tube axis, and the resistance element in the second-type resistance-forming region is configured such that minimum distances L1 and L2 between the resistance element and two long sides of the insulating substrate, respectively, are larger than corresponding minimum distances between the resistance element and two long sides of the insulating substrate in the first-type resistance-forming regions.

A carrier, forming part of the developer, is made up of a core and a resinous coating layer formed on the core. The resinous coating layer contains conductive particles each having a tin dioxide layer formed on a core and an indium oxide layer formed on the tin dioxide layer and containing tin dioxide. The conductive particles are provided with an oil absorbing amount ranging from 10 ml/100 g to 300 ml/100 g.

摘要： An electrostatic latent image is formed on an image carrier. A plurality of development cartridges include toner and are adapted to face the image carrier at a development position, respectively. The development cartridges cause the toner to adhere onto the image carrier to develop the electrostatic latent image as a toner image. A development device is configured to be rotatable around an rotational axis thereof. The development device houses the plurality of development cartridges around the rotational axis. A duct includes an inlet port through which air in the vicinity of the development position is sucked and an outlet port from which the sucked air is exhausted to the outside of the image forming apparatus. The duct covers an outer peripheral surface of the development device.

摘要： An electric leakage detection apparatus may quickly detect an electric leakage. An electric leakage detection apparatus includes a pulse generator that supplies a pulse to a coupling capacitor, a voltage detector that detects a voltage at the coupling capacitor, an electric leakage determination unit that compares the voltage detected by the voltage detector to a first threshold and determines presence or absence of the electric leakage of a DC power supply based on a comparison result. The electric leakage detection apparatus also includes a discharge determination unit that compares the voltage detected by the voltage detector to a second threshold lower than the first threshold and determines whether the detection voltage becomes lower than the second threshold by a discharge of the coupling capacitor. The pulse generator generates a new pulse when the discharge determination unit determines that the detection voltage becomes lower than the second threshold.
