摘要： A current sensor includes first to fourth magneto-resistive elements each having a resistance value; and a compensation current line applying a compensation magnetic field to the magneto-resistive elements. A bridge circuit is formed by the magneto-resistive elements. Resistance values of the first and third magneto-resistive elements change together in one increasing/decreasing direction. Resistance values of the second and fourth magneto-resistive elements change together in the other increasing/decreasing direction. The compensation current is generated by a potential difference between the first and second junctions in response to application of voltage between the third and fourth junctions. The compensation current line includes first to fourth line portions. Each line portion extends in the same direction as the extending direction of the magneto-resistive elements, overlaps the corresponding magneto-resistive elements, and. The current-to-be-detected is detected based on the compensation current.

摘要： The invention relates to a surface mount type electronic component to be mounted on a printed circuit board or a hybrid IC (HIC) and provides a low-cost electronic component which is reliable in terms of heat resistance and pressure resistance. An inductor as the electronic component has a general outline in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped, provided by forming a lead-out electrode having a multi-layer structure on a substrate and forming a protective layer for protecting the lead-out electrode using thin film forming techniques. The lead-out electrode includes a first electrode which is electrically connected to a coil conductor and which has an exposed part exposed on an outer surface and a second electrode which has an exposed part exposed on the outer surface to extend an electrode width different from an electrode width of the first electrode and which is formed directly above the first electrode and electrically connected to the first electrode.

摘要： The invention is directed to a aluminum pipe production method comprising an extrusion step for obtaining an aluminum raw pipe (10) and a drawing step for executing a drawing process of the aluminum raw pipe (10). Before executing the drawing step a slug removing step for removing aluminum slugs (1) adhering to a surface of the aluminum raw pipe (10) is executed by rubbing off the aluminum slugs (1). This can provide an aluminum pipe production method capable of preventing generation of defect protrusions while improving the productivity.

One of the terminal electrodes is connected to one of the lower conductor layers. The one of the lower conductor layers has a protruding portion that protrudes to extend more outward in a lateral direction than a side surface of the insulating layer. The one of the terminal electrodes has a concave portion that accommodates and touches at least part of the protruding portion, and touches the side surface of the insulating layer.

摘要： The thin film of the invention for use in a magnetic head has an atomic ratio composition of the formula:(Fe.sub.100-z Ni.sub.z).sub.100-x-y M.sub.x N.sub.ywherein M is at least one member selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W, Mn, and B, 6.ltoreq.x.ltoreq.14, 6.2.ltoreq.y.ltoreq.15, 0.6.ltoreq.y/x.ltoreq.2.0, and 0.ltoreq.z.ltoreq.10, and has a relative intensity ratio of Fe (200) peak to Fe (110) peak in an X-ray diffraction spectrum of at least 1 and high Fe (100) orientation, with a film surface oriented in (200) plane. Heat treatment improves the (100) orientation. The thin film has very high heat resistance of remaining stable at 700.degree. C. or higher and excellent soft magnetic properties in that it has a high saturation magnetic flux density Bs, a low coercive force, a high magnetic permeability, and minimized magnetostriction. It is hard enough. The thin film exhibits improved soft magnetic properties immediately after its preparation which experience a limited range of variation with a change of heat treating conditions so that the control of heat treatment is easy. A magnetic head using such a thin film has improved overwrite properties, recording/reproducing sensitivity, and electromagnetic properties, and is highly reliable.
