A first communication control part 132 converts a plurality of original data to be transmitted, into fixed length data packets by padding, and informs a second communication control part 122 of actual data lengths of these fixed length data packets, by a FIFO memory 146, and also, transmits these fixed length data to the second communication part 122 by DMA, and thereby, a CPU 123 of the second communication control part 122 restores original data from the fixed length data which was transmitted, at short times and with low load, on the basis of actual data lengths.

摘要： An AC-coupled interface circuit on a semiconductor integrated circuit apparatus performing a bidirectional data transfer via a differential transmission line includes a differential driver, a differential receiver and a potential setting section. The differential driver includes a pair of output terminals connected to a pair of signal lines. The differential receiver includes a pair of input terminals connected to the pair of signal lines. In a data transmission operation, the differential driver converts transmit data to a differential signal to output the differential signal. In a data reception operation, the differential receiver receives a differential signal transferred to the pair of signal lines and converts the differential signal to receive data. The potential setting section sets a potential of the pair of signal lines to a predetermined stable potential before the differential signal is transferred to the pair of signal lines.

A test table associated with each node other than a leaf includes: a description of parameters to be detected by detector units; test conditions with respect to the parameters detected by the detector units; and fault probability table representing the fault probability values and the child node names corresponding to the respective patterns of results of the tests. The whole fault tree may be divided into a main fault tree stored in the main memory and fault branch trees stored in auxiliary memory. Then, the fault branch trees are loaded into the main memory when needed.
