摘要: A method of fabricating a multilayer ceramic substrate includes stacking one or a plurality of unfired ceramic greensheets on one or both sides of a previously fired ceramic substrate, thereby forming a stack, each unfired ceramic greensheet having a firing temperature substantially equal to or lower than a firing temperature of the previously fired ceramic substrate, stacking a restricting greensheet on the unfired ceramic greensheet composing an outermost layer of the stack, the restricting greensheet having a higher firing temperature than each unfired ceramic greensheet, firing the stack at the firing temperature of the unfired ceramic green sheets with or without pressure applied via the restricting greensheet while the stack is under restriction by the restricting greensheet, thereby integrating the stack, and eliminating remainders of the restricting greensheet after the firing step.

摘要: When a retaining portion for a first load absorbing wire and a second insertion hole of a second load absorbing wire are aligned with each other in a spool radial direction, and a retaining portion for the second load absorbing wire and a first insertion hole of the first load absorbing wire are aligned with each other in a spool radial direction, the forming position of the retaining portion for the first load absorbing wire is set further to the spool radial direction outside than the second insertion hole so that the retaining portion of the first load absorbing wire and the second insertion hole do not align with each other along the spool axial direction in this state. Similarly the forming position of the retaining portion for the second load absorbing wire is set further to the spool radial direction outside than the first insertion hole.

摘要: A knee protection airbag apparatus of this invention has an airbag having a construction in which folded and accommodated below the area in front of the knees of a passenger who is seated, and inflates upward toward the rear of the vehicle so as to be capable of protecting the knees of the passenger, when an inflating gas is inserted. The airbag includes a knee protection inflation portion which is disposed on the upper side of the airbag after completion of inflation and which is capable of protecting both knees of the passenger, and a shin facing portion disposed below the knee protection inflation portion after completion of inflation, in an area extending substantially vertically so as to be at the position of both shins of the passenger. Gas flow paths are disposed within both right and left edge sides of the airbag and can cause the inflating gas flowing at the lower part of the airbag to flow towards the knee protection inflation portion while inhibiting the shin facing portion from greatly inflating in the initial stage of inflation of the airbag.

摘要: A pedestrian airbag system according to the present invention is mounted to a rear portion of a sheet metal hood panel of a vehicle. The airbag system includes an airbag inflated so as to cover an area from the rear portion of the hood panel to a front side of a front pillar by being supplied with inflation gas; a case for accommodating the airbag, and an airbag cover formed of synthetic resin and which covers the upper side of the folded airbag so as to allow projection of the airbag when inflated. The air bag cover is disposed at the rear portion of the hood panel so that the upper surface of the airbag cover is continuous with the upper surface of the hood panel on the front portion, elongated in the direction of the width of the hood panel, and mounted to the hood panel so as to be capable of moving in the direction of the width of the hood panel. According to the pedestrian airbag system of the invention, deterioration of the appearance of the airbag cover due to thermal expansion can be prevented.

摘要: The head-protecting airbag device (M1) includes an airbag (12) provided with a gas admissive portion (13) and a non-admissive portion (23). The gas admissive portion (13) includes a gas feed passage (14) for feeding inflation gas G toward both front and rearwards of the vehicle, and a plurality of vertical chambers (17) juxtaposed along front-rear direction of the vehicle. Each of the vertical chambers (17) includes a communication port at its upper end for communicating with the gas feed passage (14). The substantial lengths of a vehicle's outer wall (13b) and an inner wall (13a) of the airbag (12) are differentiated from each other by a belt (31) in the periphery (19) of the communication port (18). Thus the periphery (19) of the communication port (18) guides inflation gas (G) obliquely down and toward the vehicle's exterior (O) when inflation gas (G) flows into the vertical chamber (17) via the communication port. The head-protecting airbag device (M1) is made compact and improves workability in the mounting work on the vehicle while ensuring downward deployment of the airbag (12) along the window (W).
