    Abstract: A system can include edge devices that include communication circuitry; and one or more security components. A method can include receiving security codes from a plurality of edge devices without accessing the Internet: comparing the security codes without accessing the Internet; and, based at least in part on the comparing, connecting the plurality of edge devices for communication without accessing the Internet. A method can include executing a trained machine learning model on an edge device; and, based at least in part on the executing, detecting a change in state of the edge device.

    Abstract: A bob for a viscometer in a portable rheology unit is provided. The bob may include a bob portion having a cylindrical portion and a first end portion, the cylindrical portion defining a first end of the bob. The bob may also include a plastic portion interfacing with an interior surface of the first end portion, wherein the plastic portion includes a conical area extending from a conical area first end to a conical area second end, and the conical second end is connected to an interior surface of the cylindrical portion. The bob may also include a sleeve portion connected to the plastic portion and a bob second end portion connected to the sleeve portion.

    Abstract: Tools and methods are used to determine the oil, water, and solids volume fractions in a drilling fluid at the rig site. The volume fractions can be determined in-line with returned drilling fluid by using an NMR magnet and a flow line or sample chamber that receives a fluid sample and loads it into the NMR magnet. Using an RF probe, spectrometer, and computing device, data processing and interpretation of NMR data from the spectrometer is performed, while also raising a flag when iron contamination exceeds a predefined threshold.
