    Abstract: A technique facilitates downhole service operations including cementing operations. A retrievable cementing bushing is designed to facilitate the service operation and includes a body on which is mounted an engagement lug. The engagement lug is mounted for movement in a radial direction and includes an outer engagement feature and an inner engagement feature. The inner engagement feature is oriented for cooperation with a slick joint. The engagement lug is biased in a radially outward direction for engagement with corresponding features of a surrounding wall.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for performing a well completion. The apparatus comprises a tool string slidably locatable within the well and a shifting tool slidably locatable within the sleeve at an end of a tool string the shifting tool having a central bore therethrough and keys operable to be extended from an outer surface of the shifting tool when the central bore is supplied with the fluid above a predetermined pressure, the keys being engagable upon the sleeve so as to permit the shifting tool to move the sleeve longitudinally within the tubular body. The apparatus further comprises a motor located at a distal end of the tool string having a mill operably rotated thereby and means for selectably actuating one of the shifting tool or motor. The method comprises locating the tool string into the well and providing a fluid flow rate through the tool string to the first fluid flow range to actuate the shifting tool. The method further comprises increasing the fluid flow rate above the first fluid flow range to deactivate the shifting tool and increasing the fluid flow rate above the first fluid flow range and a predetermined fluid flow rate to activate the motor.

    Abstract: A packer and method and apparatus for releasing pressure within a pressurized annulus around the packer. The apparatus comprises a central tubular member having a central bore therethrough extending between first and second ends, an outer plug slidably locatable within a first end of the tubular member and having a central bore therethrough and an inner plug slidably locatable within the central bore of the outer plug. The method comprises longitudinally retracting the inner plug from sealed engagement within the central bore of the outer plug member so as to permit fluid to flow therethrough and engaging the outer plug with a retraction body operably connected to the inner plug extending adapted to engage the inner plug after a predetermined length of travel so as to draw the outer plug out of the central tubular member thereafter.
