Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a driving apparatus for a reclosing apparatus and a driving method thereof. The driving apparatus comprises a first energy storage unit, a timing unit, a control unit, and a first power supply unit, a second energy storage unit and a driving unit. The timing unit outputs a first enable signal; the control unit outputs a second enable signal or a third enable signal; the first power supply unit enables the second energy storage unit to receive the power when receiving the second enable signal, and enables the second energy storage unit to discharge when receiving the third enable signal; the second energy storage unit receives and stores the power via the first power supply unit; and the driving unit provides the power stored in the first energy storage unit to the reclosing apparatus when a predetermined condition is satisfied.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a control method and a control device for an electric switch, and an electric switch. The control method includes: obtaining a voltage signal representing a control voltage, the control voltage input to the electric switch and applied to an electromagnetic assembly of the electric switch via a regulation device of the electric switch; determining, based on the voltage signal obtained, a target control parameter for the electromagnetic assembly, the target control parameter comprising at least one of a target voltage and a target current; and generating, based on the target control parameter determined, a control signal for the regulation device, to cause the electromagnetic assembly to drive a movable contact of the electric switch to contact a static contact of the electric switch. The solution of the present disclosure can effectively reduce wear of contact points of contacts, to thus prolong the service life of the electric switch.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a control circuit for a contactor and a control method thereof. The control circuit comprises: a pulse converter configured to convert a turn-on control signal into a continuous pulse signal; a first controller configured to generate a first breaking control signal at a first time in response to detection of the disappearance of the continuous pulse signal received from the pulse converter; a second controller configured to generate a second breaking control signal at a second time in response to detection of the disappearance of the continuous pulse signal received from the pulse converter, wherein the first time is earlier than the second time; and a coil driver configured to turn off a current of the excitation coil according to the received first breaking control signal, and if the current is not turned off according to the first breaking control signal, to further turn off the current of the excitation coil according to the second breaking control signal, thereby realizing the breaking of the main contact.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a contactor and an operation method thereof. The contactor includes a contact, a control device, a wear indication and reset device, and a memory. The control device generates and stores wear diagnosis alarm information when the contactor is disconnected; generates a switch control signal based on the wear diagnosis alarm information when the contactor is powered on. A switch unit in the wear indication and reset device enters a wear indication state based on the switch control signal, and receives a user's operation to enter a reset state. The control device receives switch state information of the switch unit, and stores it when the contactor is disconnected. When the contactor is powered on, the control device clears the wear diagnosis alarm information based on the received switch state information being the reset state and the switch state information stored being the wear indication state.

Abstract: A motor protector and a method for operating the same. The motor protector includes: a power supply unit adapted to receive electric power from power supply lines of a motor to power the motor protector; a measuring unit adapted to measure electric parameters of the motor; and a controller configured to at least perform steps of: receiving from the measuring unit the electric parameters; determining, based on the electric parameters, whether the motor experiences a first failure related to overheating of the motor; enabling, in accordance with determination of the first failure of the motor, the power supply unit to power a closing mechanism of the motor protector after a predetermined time, thereby closing the closing mechanism to power the motor by the power supply lines; determining, based on the electric parameters, whether the motor experiences a second failure different from the first failure; and enabling, in accordance with determination of the second failure of the motor, the power supply unit to stop powering the closing mechanism. Hence, the motor protector can discriminate types of the motor failures and adopt corresponding measures for different failures.
