摘要: Apparatus is disclosed for grading and measuring surfaces such as roadbeds which have curved and inclined profiles which may have different shapes in successive transverse sections of the roadbed. A blade and screw cutter are supported by a frame which extends over the surface being worked, and these tools are movable along this frame. The tools are movable toward and away from the surface being shaped in response to a control means which has memorized the appropriate positions, or by reference to a deformable rule which may also be reshaped in response to computer-memorized data. According to a disclsoed method, the rule is reshaped for different sections of the surface. An apparatus for checking and measuring a surface which has a curved profile includes a plurality of piston-cylinder units which are mounted on a main frame. A flexible rule is connected by the piston cylinder units to the main frame, and controls are provided for setting the extended positions of the piston-cylinder units to control the shape of the flexible rule.

摘要: An inclined roadbed is paved by vehicles which are connected by wires to uphill anchor vehicles. A paving vehicle on the inclined surface has a device for projecting a laser beam to a beam-receiving device on its respective anchor vehicle. The height of the wire connection point on the anchor vehicle is changed in response to signals from the beam-receiving device, so as to equalize the forces exerted on the inclined surface by the left and right sides of the paving vehicle. For paving surfaces such as automobile test tracks which have compound curvatures, a pavement laying apparatus has a curved surface formed by a plurality of interconnected screed plates which are each connected to a respective screw jack. A microcomputer stores data representing the desired shape of the pavement at different points along the travel path of the apparatus. Signals representing the travel distance of the apparatus are sent to the microcomputer, and the microcomputer sends output signals which control the jacks to produce a pavement surface which has the desired shape.

According to the present invention, it has been evidenced that N-acetyl-D-glucosamine has an effect of promoting proliferation of an epidermis keratinized cell. Accordingly, the present invention provides a proliferation promoting agent for epidermis keratinized cell comprising N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a regeneration promoting agent or protecting agent for epithelium, skin or dermis comprising the proliferation promoting agent. Further, a therapeutic agent for wound is provided.

摘要: A space diversity reception system which minimizes the inband amplitude and/or phase dispersion by controlling the phase shifter is described. According to the present invention, the interference waves in the two antenna outputs are combined in anti-phase condition. The phase shifter control direction is decided by the sign of the two parameters. One of them is difference between two antenna levels at the center frequency of the pass-band, and the other is the difference of the combined signal levels at the extreme edges of the pass-band. The control means comprises four detectors for detecting said levels, two subtractors for providing said level differences between them, and the control circuit for deciding the phase shifter control direction.
