摘要： A small number of users who provide high interference in the other users, such as a user transmitting a high rate signal, are selected beforehand. First, a signal of the user is demodulated to generate a replica, and a difference between a received signal and the replica is calculated, thereby canceling the interference in signals of the other users, and further improving the system capacity.

摘要： A binary transversal filter which has a plurality of stages of shift registers that are driven by timing signals of a frequency which is a multiple of that of clock pulses being introduced, and a weighting circuit which weights outputs of shift registers of each of the stages, so that outputs of the weighting circuit can be synthesized. The characteristic feature of the present invention resides in the facts that NRZ signals are introduced into the shift registers, and the shift registers are driven by timing signals of a frequency which is a multiple of that of clock pulses of the NRZ signals.

摘要： In a time division multiple access mobile wireless telecommunication system, a base station has a plurality of frequencies with their priority order previously registered in a memory, selects, upon starting the operation, the frequency having the highest priority from frequencies not used by other wireless telecommunication systems, and initiates communications at the selected frequency. The base station also transmits a pilot signal representative of the priority for using the selected frequency in order to prevent other wireless telecommunication system from interrupting to use the frequency.

摘要： A space diversity reception system which minimizes the inband amplitude and/or phase dispersion by controlling the phase shifter is described. According to the present invention, the interference waves in the two antenna outputs are combined in anti-phase condition. The phase shifter control direction is decided by the sign of the two parameters. One of them is difference between two antenna levels at the center frequency of the pass-band, and the other is the difference of the combined signal levels at the extreme edges of the pass-band. The control means comprises four detectors for detecting said levels, two subtractors for providing said level differences between them, and the control circuit for deciding the phase shifter control direction.

Methods for treating disease cells, such as cancer cells, while minimizing effects on normal, somatic cells by administering therapeutically effective amounts of heterologous nucleic acid sequences operably linked to artificial TERT promoters are provided. Kits containing artificial TERT promoters for enhancing differential expression are also provided.
