    摘要: A duct type air conditioning system with a variable capacity blower in which the maximum blower capacity is established at initialization of the system at the optimum blower capacity. The optimum capacity is established by varying the capacity of the blower and measuring the air flow volume and air flow noise. The optimum capacity is inputted into the control system through a central thermostat which has a liquid crystal display associated therewith. The system installer interfaces with the control system by a dialog which occurs through the liquid crystal display. The optimum capacity of the blower is stored in a memory device, and the control system variably controls the capacity of the blower so as not to exceed the optimum capacity.

    摘要: The air conditioning apparatus comprises a heat source apparatus, an air blower, a damper disposed in each of branch duct to regulate warm air or cool air to be supplied to each of rooms, a room thermostat placed in each of the rooms, a heat load measuring means and a damper control means. The heat load measuring means controls the degree of opening of the dampers through the damper control means on the basis of output signals of an established temperature and the current room temperature from the room thermostats. Further, the capacity of the heat source apparatus and the capacity of the air blower are determined in accordance with the value of the heat load, and the pressure and the temperature of the air in the air duct.

    摘要: An air duct type multizone air conditioning system having air dampers and corresponding thermostats in respective zones under the control of a main controller. The main controller can override desired temperatures selected by the corresponding thermostats in any of the zones and automatically detects the number of the number of zones, the presence of an auxiliary heater, and a heat pump, and the presence of an air damper and corresponding thermostat properly located in the same zone.     摘要: A sealing system for a pump includes a housing having an internal chamber adapted to receive a portion of a plunger. A primary seal is translatable within the chamber in sealing relation with the housing. The primary seal includes first and second elastomeric members adapted to sealingly engage the plunger. The first and second elastomeric members are spaced apart from one another a distance greater than or equal to a maximum stroke of the plunger. A secondary seal is spaced apart from the primary seal and adapted to sealingly engage the plunger. A chamber contains a barrier fluid in contact with the primary seal and the secondary seal. A pressurizing device maintains a pressure of barrier fluid at a magnitude greater than a peak pressure of a fluid pumped by the plunger such that the pumped fluid is restricted from entering the barrier fluid chamber.
