A data pad extending from an end of the data line and a supporter provided between the substrate and the data pad are provided in a data pad area to allow the data pad to be placed at a higher position than a passivation layer. Thus, a contact resistance occurring between an anisotropic conductive film and a bump and a contact resistance occurring between the anisotropic conductive film and the data pad are reduced.

The gate lines are supplied with scanning signals, and each scanning signal includes first and second pulses in a frame. The first pulse of a scanning signal is synchronized with the second pulse of a previous scanning signal.

The gate driving part outputs a gate signal, and the data driving part outputs a data signal. The display panel displays an image in response to the gate signal and the data signal. A pixel voltage of the display panel is reduced by a kickback voltage varied based on a gray scale and induced when the gate signal falls. The kickback voltage compensating part compensates an image control signal externally provided to the kickback voltage compensating part for the kickback voltage to output a data control signal to the data driving part.

    摘要: A thin film transistor (TFT) array panel for a Liquid Crystal Display apparatus (LCD) is provided. The TFT array panel comprises a plurality of gate lines, at least one data line intersecting the plurality of gate lines and at least one thin film transistor connected to at least one of the gate lines and the at least one data line. The at least one film transistor comprises a drain electrode. In addition, the TFT array panel further comprises at least one pixel electrode including at least one first subpixel electrode connected to the drain electrode of the thin film transistor and a second subpixel electrode capacitively coupled to the at least one first subpixel electrode. Moreover, the pixel electrode has a partitioning member for partitioning the pixel electrode into at least two partitions having portions which do not overlap the drain electrode. The at least two partitions are disposed symmetrically to a reference line equidistant from the plurality of gate lines.

The TFT layer includes a gate line, a data line electrically insulated from the gate line and extending in a direction different from the gate line, a TFT electrically connected to the gate line and the data line, and a storage electrode formed from the same layer as the gate line in each pixel. The color filter layer includes a storage hole extending to a portion of the TFT layer corresponding to the storage electrode. The storage hole has a horizontal cross-sectional area greater than the storage electrode, wherein the horizontal cross-sectional area is measured in a plane parallel to the substrate. The pixel electrode is formed on the color filter layer and in the storage hole to form a storage capacitor with the storage electrode.

The first subpixel electrode comprises a first edge, a second edge disposed opposite the first edge, and two first oblique edges substantially parallel to each other, the first oblique edges making an oblique angle with the first edge and the second edge and meeting the first edge. The second subpixel electrode comprises a first edge, a second edge disposed opposite the first edge, and two first oblique edges substantially parallel to or substantially perpendicular to the first oblique edges of the first subpixel electrode, the first oblique edges of the second subpixel electrode meeting the first edge of the second subpixel electrode. The first edge of the first subpixel electrode is adjacent to the first edge of the second subpixel electrode, and a length of the first edge of the first subpixel electrode is different from a length of the first edge of the second subpixel electrode. The first oblique edges of the first subpixel electrode are offset from the first oblique edges of the second subpixel electrode.
