摘要： A jig switching apparatus includes a locator jig slidably arranged on a transport carriage and having at a front end a locate pin with clamp function. The locator jig has two switching positions selectively switched in accordance with the type of a vehicle body to be positioned. A lock mechanism with an operating screw is disposed on the transport carriage. Through the operating screw operated by a nut runner, the lock mechanism mechanically positions and locks the locator jig in one of the switching positions with respect to a reference member disposed on the transport carriage.

摘要： A preliminary assembly system for joining a body side panel and a floor panel of an automotive vehicle in a loose-fit hemming joint state by bending a claw piece extending from a main body of one of the panels to hold the other of the panels, prior to welding. The preliminary assembly system comprises a die to be in contact with a back-side surface of the main body of one of the panels in a region forming a loose-fit hemming joint section. Additionally, a main bending blade is provided to be movable to approach the die to bend the claw piece until the loose-fit hemming joint state is established. The main bending blade is moved to approach the die by a movement amount which is mechanically determined relative to a surface of the other of the panels during formation of the loose-fit hemming joint section.

A mutual engagement between the locating pin (26) and a locating bore (R) allows a panel W3 to be positioned, simultaneously detecting the presence of seating of the panel W3 responsive to a movement of the detection pin (47).

摘要： An external combustion engine comprises a container (11) with a working liquid (12) sealed therein in a state adapted to flow, a heater (13) for heating and vaporizing the working liquid (12) in the container (11), and a cooler (14) for cooling and liquefying the vapor of the working liquid (12) heated and vaporized by the heater (13). The displacement of the working liquid (12) caused by the vapor volume change is output as mechanical energy by being converted into the mechanical energy. A pressure regulating liquid (18) is sealed in a pressure regulating container (16) communicating with the container (11). A pressure regulating unit (19) regulates the internal pressure (Pt) of the pressure regulating container (16). A control unit (21) controls the pressure regulating unit (19) in such a manner that the internal pressure (Pt) is decreased in the case where it is higher than the saturation vapor pressure (Ps1) of the working liquid (12) at the temperature (T1) of a heated portion (11a) of the container for vaporizing the working liquid (12), while the internal pressure (Pt) is increased in the case where it is lower than the saturation vapor pressure (Ps1).

摘要： A vehicle body transfer machine transfers a vehicle body along a transfer path by using a transfer truck with which the vehicle body is supported, wherein the transfer truck is returned to an initial starting position of the transfer path for a repeated use when transfer of the vehicle body is terminated. The socket portion is moveable toward the locating pin to be brought into engagement therewith under a first unlock condition established when the unlock-operating unit unlock-operates the plurality of lock units, which is correlated with the horizontal two directions, of the corresponding one of the plurality of locator jigs to perform a relative positioning in the two horizontal directions between the jig change-over unit and the corresponding one of the plurality of locator jigs.
