The system includes a gaze tracking device to capture an image of a pupil associated with a viewer of the electronic display, and a diameter of the pupil being ascertained via the image of the pupil. In another example, the system may also include an ambient light sensor receiver to logarithmically receive light information from an ambient light sensor; and a display adjuster to adjust a luminance of the electronic display based on a combination of a diameter and the light information.

    摘要: A flicker reduction method for a lamp assembly includes providing current pulses to a fluorescent lamp in response to a periodic signal such as a ramp voltage. The current pulses illuminate the fluorescent lamp. The method further includes providing at least a predetermined number of current pulses to the fluorescent lamp per period of the periodic signal. A feedback circuit samples current in the fluorescent lamp to ensure that a predetermined number of current pulses have been provided. After the pulses are provided, the circuit is reset for the next cycle of the periodic signal.

    摘要: A circuit assembly detects a touch point within a display area. A plurality of light emitters are disposed around a periphery of the display area. A plurality of detectors are disposed around the periphery, each detector being opposed to a respective light emitter. Switching circuitry for connecting the light emitters and detectors in a switching matrix has a plurality of matrix rows and matrix columns. The switching circuitry includes a plurality of row lines, each row line corresponding to a respective matrix row and a plurality of column lines, each column line corresponding to a respective matrix column. Low-side switching transistors selectably couple the light emitters and detectors to the row and column lines, respectively. A common modulated signal is coupled to the anodes of all the light emitters. A detection signal is provided by connecting the collector terminals for the detector phototransistors in common. Consequently, high-side multiplexing circuits are avoided.
