Abstract:
In order to improve the use ratio of light of the quantum dot liquid crystal display panel, a quantum dot liquid crystal display panel and a method for manufacturing the quantum dot liquid crystal display panel are provided. The liquid crystal display panel includes a liquid crystal cell and a color filter substrate. The liquid crystal cell includes a first glass plate, a second glass plate, and an liquid crystal interlayer sandwiched between the first glass plate and the second glass plate, the first glass plate being provided with thin film transistor array thereon; and the color filter substrate is laminated on a side of the second glass plate that is facing away from the liquid crystal interlayer by a pressure laminating layer. The color gamut and the use ratio of light of the liquid crystal display device can be effectively improved according to the liquid crystal display panel and a method for manufacturing the same.

The color filter substrate includes a baseplate, a black matrix layer, and a metal grid layer. The grid line of the metal grid layer is arranged corresponding to a frame of the black matrix layer, and a projection of the grid line of the metal grid layer on the baseplate falls inside a projection of the frame of the black matrix layer on the baseplate.

A liquid crystal display apparatus is provided. The liquid crystal display apparatus includes a graphene LED backlight source, a first polarizing film, a first substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a second substrate and a second polarizing film. The graphene LED backlight source is used for providing light output, the first polarizing film is used for converting the light output from the backlight source into a polarized light. The liquid crystal layer includes liquid crystal molecules used for deflecting the polarized light from the backlight source to form a polarized output light, and the second polarizing film is used for emitting the polarized output light.

A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel and a back light module located under the liquid crystal panel. The liquid crystal panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate arranged opposite to each other; a liquid crystal layer arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate; an upper polarizer arranged at one side of the first substrate that is distant from the liquid crystal layer; a lower polarizer arranged at one side of the second substrate that is distant from the liquid crystal layer; and a quantum-dot color filter arranged between the back light module and the lower polarizer. The back light module emit blue light, which excites red and green quantum dots contained in the quantum-dot color filter to emit red light and green light, respectively.

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display panel structure and a manufacture method thereof. The liquid crystal display panel structure comprises a CF substrate (1), a TFT substrate (3), a liquid crystal layer filled between the CF substrate (1) and the TFT substrate (3), sealant (7) coated between the CF substrate (1) and the TFT substrate (3) and a black matrix (5) arranged between the CF substrate (1) and the TFT substrate (3); the black matrix (5) is positioned at periphery of an active area (AA) on the CF substrate (1), and a height thereof is smaller than a distance between the CF substrate (1) and the TFT substrate (3), and the black matrix (5) comprises a plurality of trenches (51), and each of the trenches (51) penetrates the black matrix (5) to form a hollow construction, and the sealant (7) is positioned on the black matrix (5) and fills in the trenches (51). Such structure is capable of promoting the adhesive force between the CF substrate and the TFT substrate and preventing separation of the CF substrate and the TFT substrate without any additional cost.

Thus, when a polymerizing step is performed, tilting directions of the liquid crystal molecules can be made uniform, thereby solving the problem of reducing an optical transmittance existing in the conventional technology.

A liquid crystal material, a liquid crystal display panel, and a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel are disclosed. A liquid crystal material is used to form a polymer film on a substrate on which no PI layer is provided so as to realize normal display of the liquid crystal panel. Meanwhile, realiability of the panel can be improved, a voltage holding rate can be improved, and poor alignment of the self-alignment liquid crystal material, afterimage, and other problems can be solved.

The invention provides a liquid crystal medium mixture including a liquid crystal material, an antioxidant and at least one kind of polymerizable monomer capable of undergoing polymerization reaction under ultraviolet light irradiation. Under an ultraviolet light irradiation, the antioxidant would make the polymerizable monomer be slowly polymerized to form a homogeneous polymer network in the liquid crystal material and thereby make the liquid crystal material have a fast-response speed when a voltage is applied thereto. The invention further provides a liquid crystal display panel.

A curved display panel and a curved display device are provided. The curved display panel comprises a curved thin film transistor array substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a curved color filter substrate, and a spacer assembly. The spacer assembly is used to maintain a predetermined distance between the curved thin film transistor array substrate and the curved color filter substrate. A display defect caused by an uneven cell thickness of the curved display panel is avoided.
