摘要: The invention refers to a quantum dot light diffuser plate that can be assembled on a backlight module with blue LEDs as the bottom light source. Microstructures having concave portions and convex portions are formed on the surface of the diffuser plate. A quantum dot layer comprising green quantum dots and red quantum dots is applied only on the concave portions of the microstructures, and thus is separated by the convex portions into small parts independent of each other. A water-blocking and gas-blocking layer is arranged on the upper surface of the quantum dot layer. The water vapor and oxygen from the outside cannot penetrate the side end faces of the quantum dot layer and invade the entire quantum dot layer, such that, the diffuser plate of the invention can have the advantages of simple process, low cost and high production yield.

摘要: An optical modulator includes an optical waveguide extending a length; and a plurality of Radio Frequency (RF) electrodes configured to modulate an optical signal in the optical waveguide, wherein the RF electrodes include an RF crossing located an end of the length and that is configured to equalize the optical signal. The optical signal is equalized via destructive interference after the RF crossing for attenuating modulation amplitude. At or near the end of the length, high frequencies of the optical signal are already strongly attenuated whereas low frequencies of the optical signal are not such that the low frequencies are equalized after the RF crossing.

A spectrally-stabilized quantum dot, the spectrally-stabilized quantum dot exhibiting a spectral shift of less than about 2.5 meV over about 15 minutes of continuous operation.

摘要: The disclosure describes various aspects of a system with scalable and programmable coherent waveform generators. A network and digital-to-analog conversion (DAC) cards used by the network are described where each DAC card has a clock divider/replicator device with an input SYNC pin, a digital logic component, and one or more DAC components, and each output of the DAC components is used to control optical beams for a separate qubit of a quantum information processing (QIP) system. The network also includes a first distribution network to provide a clock signal to the clock divider/replicator device in the DAC cards, and a second distribution network to provide a start signal to the DAC cards, where the start signal is used by the digital logic component in the DAC card to assert the input SYNC pin when the start signal is asserted unless it is masked by the digital logic component.
