    摘要: A lateral current blocking light emitting diode (LED) and a method of making the same are disclosed. The present invention features in that a trench is formed between the two electrodes via the technique of such as etching, wherein the depth of the trench reaches to at least the active layer, thereby blocking the lateral current between the two electrodes. With the use of the present invention, the possibility of the current passing through the active layer can be increased, thereby improving the brightness of the LED; and the chance of the photons emitted from the lateral of the trench can be raised wherein the photons are generated from the active layer, thereby increasing the output efficiency of the photons generated from the active layer.

    摘要: A pixel driving method applied to a flat panel display is provided. In a first time period, an Nth scan line provides a first scan voltage to a pixel row to conduct the corresponding thin film transistors (TFT). Also, an N+1th scan line provides a second scan voltage through the conducted TFTs to the corresponding first switches to conduct the first switches, and then a number of first data voltages of the corresponding data lines are outputted to the corresponding first pixel electrodes. The absolute value of the difference between the first scan voltage and the second scan voltage is not smaller than a threshold voltage of each TFTs.

    摘要: A wireless pointing device with forced power-off function includes a body and a power supply switch. The body includes a pointing module, a battery, and a wireless transmission module. The wireless transmission module transmits an indication signal providing from the pointing module. The power supply switch is located on an outer surface of the body to control ON and OFF of the power supply circuit of the battery. The power supply switch may be cut off manually, or through charging operation to completely cut off the power of the wireless pointing device to avoid electric power consumption and increase the service life of the battery.

    摘要: A method of inserting black frames is provided. The LCD comprises a pixel, and the pixel comprises a liquid crystal capacitor. Firstly, during a normal-mode period, a common voltage is provided to a first end of the liquid crystal capacitor. Next, a data signal is provided to a second end of the liquid crystal capacitor, so that the liquid crystal capacitor has a first voltage drop. Finally, during a dark-mode period, a first voltage different from the common voltage is provided to the first end of the liquid crystal capacitor to change the voltage at the second end of the liquid crystal capacitor, so that the liquid crystal capacitor has a second voltage drop to drive the pixel in a dark mode during the dark-mode period.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an auto lamp structure, which comprises a reflector, a light source, and a covering part. The reflector exhibits a first ellipse in the direction of a first axis about a center, and exhibits a second ellipse in the direction of a second axis about the center. The long axis or the short axis of the first ellipse is different from the long axis or the short axis of the second ellipse. In addition. the reflector has an opening. The light source is disposed in the reflector, and illuminates light via the opening. The covering part is disposed above the reflector for controlling the distribution pattern of the light. Thereby, the present invention uses a reflector of a complex ellipse structure to control the distribution pattern of the light of the light source for complying with the regulations.
