摘要： A communication apparatus having an automatic dialing function such as redial, one-touch dial, abbreviated dial comprises: a memory to store the dial number; a detector to detect a predetermined hooking operation by another terminal; and a transmitter to transmit a dial signal according to the dial number stored in the memory on the basis of the detection of the predetermined hooking operation by the detector. The detector has a second detector to detect an off hook of another terminal. The transmitter sets a predetermined flag on the basis of the detection of the predetermined hooking operation and, when the off hook is detected, if the predetermined flag has been set, the dial signal according to the dial number stored in the memory is transmitted.

摘要： In an image information read apparatus, shading distortion data of a light source are stored in a plurality of memory means, and the shading distortion data is read out of one of the memory means depending on a position of an original document. Content, of one of the plurality of memory means is retained even after the turn-off of a power supply. By this arrangement, a proper shading distortion correction is always attained at any position of the inserted original document even when the original document is partially scanned from an intermediate point, a proper initial value for shading distortion correction can be inputted so that a proper shading correction is attained to improve a quality of image.

摘要： A wireless telephone system includes plural phones, each having a radio transmitting/receiving unit and a storage unit for recording and reproducing incoming messages, and a base unit connected to a telephone line that communicates by radio with the plural phones. In one arrangement, the base unit selects a desired phone and the selected phone records the incoming message. In another arrangement, the plural phones do not include storage units and base unit is adapted to select a desired phone according to a DTMF signal and to record an incoming message corresponding to the selected phone in a storage unit. The base unit reads out the stored incoming message in response to a designation from the selected phone, transmits the message to the phone and the incoming message is reproduced by the selected phone.

When a tone signal from a line is detected after the start of storage of a voice message in response to an incoming call, the voice message presently being recorded is not counted as a received message and a voice message received next is stored in the area in which storage has just been performed. Further, when a DTMF signal, which is a control signal of the automatic answering telephone, is detected, a transition is made to facsimile communication in response to a CNG signal. Thus, erroneous operation in facsimile communication due to a CNG signal recorded in the automatic answering telephone is prevented.
