摘要: Distributed information integrating method and apparatus for collecting data requested by a program at a data request side, integrating the collected data and supplying the integrated data to the request-side program irrespective of the existence of a processing device storing the data and a transmission medium. An event linking data table 232 stores the name of data to be collected in response to an occurring event and a transmission destination of the collected data. Filtering processing 222 refers to the event linking data table 232 in response to an event occurring on a self processing device and a message event received through a transmission medium to collect the data stored in the self processing device, and transmits the collected data to a transmission destination. A data integration management table 233 sets the items of data to be integrated while dividing the items for every data name of the collection data. Data integration processing 224 receives collection data from another processing device to integrate the collection data according to the setting of the data integration management table 233, and delivers the integrated data to an application program 212.

摘要: In a distributed processing system including a plurality of intelligent devices such as an optical sensor and a processing machine connected via a network to each other, when a first optical sensor is moved from a first section to a second section, if an identifier indicative of the second section is set, then the first optical sensor transmits a retrieve message containing this identifier via the network so as to seek a second optical sensor which is set to the same second section. Then, the first optical sensor acquires a setting parameter from the second optical sensor, and executes an operation in cooperation with the second optical sensor set in the same second section. As a result, in such a distributed processing system including a plurality of computers (intelligent devices) whose processing contents are different from each other, depending upon setting places thereof, workloads for changing the setting values of these computers can be reduced.

摘要: A network system includes at least one computer which includes a processor for processing data and attaching an associated contents code corresponding to the processed data and data group information indicative of a data group corresponding to the attributes of the processed data to ask a data transmission request and a transmission controller connected to the processor for controllably transmitting a frame including the transmission sub-network, the contents code and the processed data to the first sub-network according to the data group information of the processed data. A second computer connected judges whether or not the contents code of the frame received from the first sub-network conforms to one of a plurality of data reception enable/disable judgement conditions. A third computer judges whether or not the contents code of the frame received conforms to one of a plurality of data reception enable/disable judgement conditions, and storing the received frame having the contents code conforming to one of the plurality of data reception enable/disable judgement conditions. The second computer includes a filter in which the contents codes differently set for respective sub-networks are stored and which changes the contents code contained in the received frame to the contents code set for the receiving sub-network.

摘要: A network interface apparatus connected between a LAN adaptor possessed by a computer and a transceiver provided on a network includes a buffer memory for storing data, a first control circuit for communicating with the LAN adaptor, a second control circuit for communicating with the transceiver, and a processor for controlling the first and second control circuits to control the transfer of data between the LAN adaptor and the transceiver. The processor causes the buffer memory to store transmit data transmitted from the LAN adaptor and transmits the stored transmit data in the buffer memory to the transceiver in a transmission time zone which is allotted beforehand. The transmission time zone is determined by the processor on the basis of the reception of a synchronizing packet which is transferred on the network. Receive data received from the transceiver is selected by the processor so that only the selected receive data is sent to the LAN adaptor. A reference for the selection may include a protocol type, a port number on TCP/IP or the like.

摘要: A program replacing method is provided for an uninterruptible online computer system. The computer system includes an auxiliary storage unit for storing a program currently running in the computer system and another program to replace the current running program and a replacement request managing table for storing replacement requests and program IDs of such replacing programs. These programs include checkpoints pre-programmed at selected locations therein. At an optional checkpoint, the replacement request managing table is retrieved for checking whether or not the replacement is requested. If a replacement is requested, the new program is started according to the program ID and the current program is terminated.

摘要: It is designed to connect a duplicated LAN to a network terminal such as a controller having a standard serial or parallel interface, a computer having only one LAN interface, or a computer having only one communication line interface. The network interface apparatus for connecting a network terminal and a duplicated LAN comprises a device for controlling interfaces with the network terminal and the LAN transmission line of each of the duplicated LAN, a buffer, and a sending device to both, and the data from the network terminal is buffered in the buffer, and when the buffered data reaches a fixed amount, the data is sent to both LANs of the duplicated LAN. On the other hand, with respect to the data received from each LAN transmission line of the duplicated LAN, only the data which is judged as earlier arrival data is sent to the network terminal.
