摘要： The present invention provides a method for providing an optimal wireless communication method according to a change in a wireless communication environment. When the reception status is degraded while an HD stream signal, which uses a first wireless method, is transmitted and received, the method scans channels for which radar wave monitoring is not required and switches the transmission/reception to a second wireless method using free channel A. The method further scans channels for which radar wave monitoring is required and, if free channel B has a bandwidth wider than that of channel A is found, monitors channel B and if channel B is not used by a radar wave, switches the channel from channel A to channel B.

摘要： Provided is a receiving device that without interrupting a program being viewed is capable of switching the channel to the program in a destination reception area. When reception is good, a plurality of receiving units select the same channel and receive a program; and when reception worsens, the plurality of receiving units is divided into units for program reception and units for channel searching. The receiving units for program reception continue receiving the program, and the receiving units for channel searching search for a relay station and switch to a relay station channel having better reception than the channel being viewed. In a case where a relay station channel with good reception cannot be found, series broadcast stations in the same network are searched and a switch is made to a channel of a series broadcast station in the same network that has better reception than the channel being viewed.

摘要： This invention relates to a digital broadcast receiver device capable of performing excellent reproduction equivalent to recording sessions in the case of receiving digital broadcast by handheld terminals or mobile/movable bodies, such as land vehicles, and then recording it in a storage device for reproduction. For example, when recording hierarchically transmitted digital broadcast on a recording medium, the reception quality is analyzed by a reception quality analyzer based on the information from a transmission path demodulator. A list generator generates a reception quality list from an analysis result from the reception quality analyzer and time information from a writing unit and then records it on the record medium. Upon playback from the record medium, the reception quality list is analyzed by a list analyzer. A selection instruction unit selects the optimum hierarchical service and then performs playback and display.
