摘要: An optical device, such as a camera, which includes an image blur suppression optical system to optically prevent image blur of a photographic image on an image plane of the optical device by changes in at least a portion of a photographic optical system. An image blur suppression drive unit drives the image blur suppression optical system, and a suppression position detection unit detects changes in the position of the image blur suppression optical system during the time of the image blur suppression. A lens prime and a memory unit generates constants indicative of optical conditions in the optical device which correspond to changes in the position of the image blur suppression optical system.

摘要: A method of feeding work products such as can ends between different processes having different throughput requirements uses various feeding apparatus. In the first process, the work products are continuously mechanically treated at the same time by a group of first machines and then continuously discharged to a second process. This second process receives the work products fed from the plural discharging parts of the first machines. The apparatus in the second process has fewer receiving inlets than discharge parts of the first machines. In the second process, the work products are further mechanically treated. The method feeds the work products discharged from the plural discharging parts in the first process along respective feeding paths and then quickly feeds a predetermined number of work products to form a group of work products. This group is held in an arranged state in respective stay parts connected to the feeding paths. A robot system will then successively feed the work groups to the feeding part for the second process. Alternatively, the method can be arranged such that a certain process having a high output can feed to various machines of a subsequent process having a lower ouput. Various feeding apparatus can be used in order to divide the products from the certain process having the higher output into appropriate groups to be fed to the various machines of the subsequent slower process.

摘要: In a focusing screen having a large number of microlenses regularly arranged thereon, heights of microlenses are n different values. The microlenses having the same height are cyclically arranged. In another aspect, the heights of the microlenses in a similar focusing screen are randomly distributed over ranges centered on n central values, and the microlenses having the same central value are cyclically arranged. In still another aspect, in a method of manufacturing a focusing screen having micropatterned projections by a so-called proximity exposure method, dimensions of the micropatterns of the mask vary centered on the n different values, and the micropatterns having the same central values are cyclically arranged.

摘要: A photometric device, used in an optical apparatus such as a camera, which includes photometric elements to measure photometric values according to plural regions of a subject field, and corrects the photometric values of photometric elements corresponding to specific regions within the plural regions based on the photometric values of regions outside the specific region and on previously set correction coefficients according to each region. The location of the specific regions on the subject field may be adjusted either manually or automatically based upon a focus adjustment state of a focus detection unit.

摘要: A can end is seamed to a cylindrical can filled with contents. The can is fed along a substantially elliptical path including straight and arcuate paths. While the can is being fed along the straight path, the can end is seamed to the can by a linear seaming device. At the same time, the can end is rotated by a can end holder which has a pinion gear held in mesh with a rack which extends fully along the elliptical path. The rack is composed of separate rack members which are relatively movable to adjust the tension of an endless chain that moves can ends and cans along the elliptical path.

摘要: An apparatus for seaming a can end to a filled cylindrical can includes can feed device for supporting the bottom of the can rotatably about its own axis and feeding the can linearly along a travel path at a predetermined speed. A can end holder member is provided for detachably holding the can end directly above the can feed device and holding the can end rotatably about its own axis. A can end feed member is provided for moving the can end holder member to feed the can end in synchronism with the can which is fed by the can feed device. A lifting/lowering member is provided for lowering the can end holder member to hold the can end held by the can end holder member against an open end of the can. A seaming device is provided and extends linearly along the travel path for pressing an end hook of the can end against a flange of the can while the can end against which the can end is held is being fed by the can feed device. The can end holder member and the can feed device are rotated to roll the can end and the can along the seaming device to seam the can end to the can while the end hook of the can end and the flange of the can are being pressed by the seaming device.

摘要: A focus detection device includes a focus detector, an object detector, a selector, a divider, and a controller. The focus detector is configured to detect a plurality of focus adjusting states at focus detecting positions in an image plane of an optical system. The object detector is configured to detect image information corresponding to a specified object in an image of the optical system. The selector is configured to select focus adjusting states among the plurality of focus adjusting states based on the image information detected by the object detector. The divider is configured to find variation in the selected focus adjusting states and configured to divide the selected focus adjusting states into a plurality of groups based on the variation. The controller is configured to find a final focus adjusting state based on a pre-final focus adjusting state in a group selected from the plurality of groups.

摘要: An auxiliary light projection apparatus used for focus detection has a laser beam generating device and a diffraction plate for diffracting a laser light from said laser beam generating device. The diffraction plate has micro lenses regularly arranged in vertical and horizontal directions. The curvature of each micro lens in the vertical direction is different from that in the horizontal direction. The pitch of arrangement of the micro lenses in the vertical direction is different from that in the horizontal direction. In addition, the height of the micro lenses is varied cyclically. The auxiliary light projection apparatus projects a diffraction light pattern of the laser light emergent from the diffraction plate to an object to be photographed, as a pattern used for focus detection.

摘要: A can lid of the fully-open type has a disk-shaped panel, a score notched endlessly in a surface of the panel along an outer circumferential edge of the panel, for forming an opening in the panel, and a tab fixed to the panel by a rivet. The tab is attached in a direction substantially perpendicular to an initial tear-off line of the score. The surface of the panel which is concealed from view by the tab is printed with a circular mark representing a rolling direction in which the material of the panel has been rolled. The score is defined such that the rolling direction extends substantially at a right angle to the initial tear-off line of the score. The panel has an auxiliary score defined in the surface thereof near the rivet and positioned across the rivet from the initial tear-off line substantially parallel to the initial tear-off line and separate therefrom.
