    摘要: A main memory stores a signal reproduced from a recording medium with a time base error, and a read clock generator and phase modulator generates a read clock signal of variable phase for reading out the signal from the main memory. A velocity compensating circuit generates first discrete signals representative of the velocity error of the reproduced signal at designated sample points of a current field and second discrete signals representative of a velocity error of the reproduced signal at sample points of a previous field respectively corresponding to the designated points and interleaves the first and second discrete signals to produce a combined signal having a sampling frequency greater than that of either the first or second discrete signals. The combined signal constitutes a nonlinear approximation of the time base error, and the read clock generator and phase modulator is responsive to the combined signal for controlling the readout of the reproduced signal from the main memory in such a manner as substantially to eliminate the time base error.

    摘要: In a magnetic reproducing apparatus for reproducing a luminance signal and timebase-compressed chrominance component signals recorded on separate tracks of a record medium, the reproduced chrominance component signals are directly supplied to a timebase expander and this timebase expander uses a reference clock which reference clock is employed in the timebase correction of the luminance signal and frequency-divided by the timebase compression ratio whereby to perform the timebase expansion and the timebase correction at the same time. Thus, it is not necessary that the timebase correction and the timebase expansion are performed by separate circuits and this leads to a simple circuit arrangement.

    摘要: In an apparatus for detecting movement of a television image in response to frame difference data corresponding to a difference between present frame data and previous frame data, a video signal is divided into a plurality of segmental areas for each frame, a pixel or picture element is selected to represent each of the segmental areas, frame difference data are produced for each of the segmental areas by calculating differences in the position or coordinates of a pixel representative of a segmental area of a previous frame from the respective picture element of the corresponding segmental area in the present frame, and each of the calculated differences smaller than a predetermined magnitude, and which would be characteristic of a stationary background portion of the television image, is omitted from the frame difference data. This is effective to improve the movement vector detection accuracy. The apparatus has a circuit for zeroing the frame difference data, and thereby improving, the movement vector detection reliability when the number of the calculated differences omitted from the frame difference data exceeds a predetermined value.
