摘要： An apparatus for producing an electrographic print on a photosensitive receptor placed on a holder so as to produce an electrostatic latent image on the receptor by projecting light thereon, the apparatus including a developing unit located below the receptor holder, the developing unit including a developing section, the developing unit or the receptor holder being movable in relation to the other, the developing section supplying a developer to the sensitive receptor so as to make the electrostatic latent image visible, and a mechanism for collecting the used developer from the sensitive receptor, the collecting mechanism including a pneumatic knife for blowing the used developer on the sensitive receptor to a place of collection, and an arrangement for receiving the used developer brought by the pneumatic knife, the receiving arrangement being provided on that surface of the receptor holder which is outside the sensitive receptor, the receiving arrangement being provided in a direction perpendicularly to the direction in which the receptor holder or the developing unit is moved.

摘要： An apparatus for producing an electrophotographic print on a photosensitive receptor which is movable through a plurality of predetermined stations so as to produce an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive receptor, the apparatus including a rotary drum having a peripheral surface which defines an image forming section and a non-image forming section, the photosensitive sheet being placeable on the image forming section of the drum surface, a developing unit having at least one developing section for supplying a developer to the photosensitive sheet on the drum, thereby making the electrostatic latent image visible, and a device for collecting the used developer from the photosensitive sheet, the collecting device being provided axially of the drum in the non-image forming section of the peripheral surface.

摘要： A method of controlling exposure prepares basic data and original data, prepares data for correction for determining a correction amount of the original data, obtains first dot image, obtains dot percentage differences .delta..sub.H and .delta..sub.S between dot percentages of a highlight region and a shadow region of the first dot image, respectively, and a desired highlight dot percentage and a shadow dot percentage, obtains a correction amount of the original data based on .delta..sub.H and .delta..sub.S and the data for correction to update the basic data based on the correction amount of the original data, and acquires an exposure amount for obtaining second dot image based on the updated basic data and the original data. An apparatus for implementing this method is also disclosed.

摘要： In a wet type color electrophotographic copying machine, a wet type of developing apparatus and a surplus developer removing device are provided under a photosensitive material carrying device. The developing apparatus comprises a plurality of color developing devices and lifting elements for locating each developing device at the levels of three stages, i.e., a developing position, a blade contacting position and a lowered position. The surplus developer removing device comprises a developer squeezing roller unit, a developer recovery blade both of which are provided at least each color developing device, and an air knife device. The blade is operated to be in contact with a non-image area of the surface, interlockingly with a lowering movement of the developing device from the developing position to the blade contacting position, in order to recover completely the remaining developer through the blade. Color turbidity of a copy image is thus eliminated by enhancement of the surplus developer effect of the removing device.

摘要： A process camera includes: an original holder; a lens for projecting an image of the original on an image forming plane; a frame having an opening defining the image forming plane; a focusing glass attached to the frame movable between a portion covering only a part of the opening of the frame and an open position freeing the opening for forming an image of the original of the surface thereof; a vacuum board for holding a film thereon; and a member for mounting to the frame the vacuum board rotatably around a predetermined axis of rotation between a closed position covering all of the opening and a position covering only a part of the opening. Since the area of the focusing glass is selected to be smaller than the area of the opening, the area required by the focusing glass at the open position is small. The axis of rotation of the vacuum board is provided crossing the opening, but not along sides of the opening. The axis of rotation of the vacuum board is provided at a position other than an end portion of the vacuum board.
