    摘要: The present invention relates to a magnetic tape cassette comprising upper and lower halves of cassette forming the cassette body wherein supply and take-up reels for a tape are to be loaded, a front cover that swivels and covers rotatably the front side of the cassette where the tape runs and a front cover spring that keeps causing the front cover to be swiveled in one direction.In the upper half of cassette offered by the invention, the side wall of the upper half of cassette is provided with a loading opening, and when a shaft provided on the front cover for supporting the front cover when it swivels or rotates is positioned at the corner of the loading opening, it is possible to mount the front cover regularly and finally only on the upper half of cassette owing to a stopper protrusion that checks the downward movement of the shaft provided on the front cover and a slip-prevention protrusion that checks the forward movement of the same shaft.

    摘要: An ink composition and method for ink jet recording are disclosed. The ink composition comprises a coloring agent and additives which are adjusted to bring the roundness of dots formed on a recording medium, such as paper, of from 50 to 80 g/m.sup.2, to be at least 0.75 where said roundness (D) is represented by the formulaD=4.pi..times.S/L.sup.2where S is the area of each dot, L is the circumferential length of the dot and .pi. is the circular constant. The ink composition has good ink drop projection stability, good storage stability and a superior property for producing highly densed dots having an improved configuration close to a perfect circle on the recording medium.

    摘要: A tape cassette for use in a recording apparatus with a lid lock to lock a front lid of the tape cassette in a closed position. The lid lock includes a fixing portion which fixes the lid lock to the cassette body, and a locking portion with a lock claw which engages the front lid to lock the front lid in the closed position. A reinforcing member formed of a resilient material extends between a support portion and a front leg portion of the lock member to bias the front leg portion of the lock member in a frontal direction toward a locking position. The lock claw locks and releases the front lid by movement caused by the deformation of the lid lock.

    摘要: A magnetic recording medium is disclosed which comprises a support and a magnetic recording layer provided on said support, said magnetic recording layer containing a polycarbonate polyurethane obtained by the reaction of a polycarbonatepolyol of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is selected from the group consisting of aliphatic hydrocarbons having 4 to 12 carbon atoms and aromatic hydrocarbons having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, and n is an integer of not larger than 50 with a polyisocyanate containing a plurality of isocyanate groups and, if necessary, a polyol.In a preferred form of the invention, the layer also contains, as a dispersant, a compound of the formula ##STR2## wherein A is hydroxyl, --OM, or ##STR3## M being an alkali metal and n is an integer from 1 to 30.
