摘要： A container made from a hard synthetic resin is provided on a key body (12). A container half (26) and the other container half (27) of the container (16) are attached to a key body (12) and a transmitting element (18) is secured to the container halves (26) and (27) in a sealed condition. A soft resin outer skin is molded on the outer surfaces of the key body (12) and the resin container (16). Heat and pressure during the molding of the resin outer skin are received by the resin container (16) so that the transmitting element 18 therein is protected therefrom.

摘要： An electronic key device has a housing, a substrate unit, a battery holder, a key passage, and a key. A lock pin provided on the battery holder is biased toward the key by a spring. A distal end of the pin enter the key passage for retaining or locking the key. When the key is not being used, the key is covered by the pin. When the key is being used, the pin advances into a locking aperture of the key to lock the key. The pin locks the battery holder to the housing. The use of one pin for locking the key and the battery against the housing enables miniaturization of the device.

The control circuit obtains a linear approximation formula of a developing potential and an amount of toner according to an exposure potential of the patch pattern and a detected amount of toner to calculate a developing gamma and a developing start voltage according to a gradient of the linear approximation formula, determines target charging potential, exposure potential and developing bias according to the developing gamma and the developing start voltage, determines an amount of a background potential to be corrected according to a difference between the developing start voltage and a target developing start voltage obtained according to environmental information, and corrects the target charging potential.

摘要： The image forming apparatus includes a process unit, a latent image writer, a power source, and a controller. The process unit is detachably attachable relative to the image forming apparatus and includes, as a single integrated unit, a latent image bearing member to bear a latent image on a surface thereof, a charging device to charge the surface of the latent image bearing member, and a development device to develop the latent image with toner. The controller causes the power source to output a charging bias at a predetermined target level supplied to the charging device. The process unit includes a first storage device to store correction information for calculating the predetermined target level of the charging bias in accordance with a combination of the latent image bearing member and the charging device. The controller corrects the predetermined target level based on the correction information in the first storage device.
