In order to achieve this object, a display device of the present invention includes an information processing executing unit having a normal mode prepared as an operation mode for a normal drawing process and one or more energy-saving modes prepared as operation modes for drawing processes in which energy is consumed less than in the normal mode. The information processing executing unit executes information processing in the operation mode. The display device includes: an operation mode determining unit that determines an operation mode; a controller that controls the operation of the information processing executing unit; and a drawing unit that executes a drawing process.
