    Abstract: A stator segment for the stator or the rotor of an electrical machine is provided including: two end teeth at two respective circumferential ends, a plurality of N intermediate teeth, N being an integer greater than 1, a plurality of N+1 slots circumferentially distributed between the two end teeth, each pair of circumferentially adjacent intermediate teeth having a slot interposed therebetween, a slot being provided between each end tooth and a respective circumferentially adjacent intermediate tooth, at least one 2-pitch coil, the 2-pitch coils being in the number of N-1 and extending between an i-th slot and a (i+2)-th slot, the slots being progressively counted from one to the other of the two circumferential ends, i being an integer between 1 and N−1.

    Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a stator or a rotor of an electrical machine, the steps of: modelling a plurality of model segments circumferentially joined together in such a way that two circumferentially adjacent model segments contacts each other at respective circumferential interfaces, the plurality of model segments including a plurality of model teeth interposed between a plurality of slots, manufacturing the segmented body in such a way that at least the two end slots are circumferentially shifted away from the circumferential interfaces of the respective model segment for creating respective gap portions of the circumferential gap, the sum of the circumferentially shifts of the at least two end slots being equal to the sum of the circumferential extensions of the gap portions, circumferentially joining the plurality of segments together in such a way that two gap portions of two adjacent segments forms the respective circumferential gap.

    Abstract: A method for computer-implemented maximization of annual energy production of several wind turbines of a wind park is provided. The method considers the impact of individual turbine manufacturing tolerances on the turbine performance, thereby avoiding under-utilization of those wind turbines. The method includes: receiving, by an interface, one or more actual manufacturing tolerances of characteristic values for each of the number of wind turbines; determining, by a processing unit, for each of the number of wind turbines a power versus wind speed map which is calculated from a given turbine model with the one or more actual manufacturing tolerances of the respective wind turbines as input parameters; determine, based on the power versus wind speed map of each of the number of wind turbines a respective performance measure; and assign a selected siting position for each wind turbine in the wind park according to its determined performance measure.

    Abstract: A method for determining improved control parameters of a turbine by consideration of a lifetime information is provided. The method considers the impact of individual turbine manufacturing tolerances on the turbine performance, thereby avoiding under-utilization of those wind turbines.     Abstract: A method for computer-implemented determination of control parameters of a turbine in case of a component malfunction is provided. The method considers the impact of individual turbine characteristic values on the turbine performance in a turbine model in order to determine control parameters for the turbine without damaging it. The following includes the steps of: receiving, by an interface, an information indicating a component malfunction; identifying, by a processing unit, as to what power level the turbine is operated at, by a simulation of the operation of the turbine, the simulation being made with a given turbine model in which the identified component is set to be operated with a reduced function and in which one or more characteristic values characteristic values of the wind turbine are used as input parameter; and deriving, by the processing unit, the control parameters for the wind turbine from the identified power level.
