    摘要： The present invention relates to compositions and methods for identification and development of compounds or therapeutic agents that treat pathophysiological conditions arising from inflammatory responses. In particular, the present invention is directed to methods for detecting compounds or therapeutic agents that inhibit or block glycated protein produced induction of the signaling-associated inflammatory response in cells. The present invention provides compositions for and methods of treatment of biological conditions including, but not limited to, vascular complications of type I and type II diabetic induced vasculopathies, other vasculopathies, microangiopathies, renal insufficiency, Alzheimer's syndrome, and inflammation-induced diseases such as atherosclerosis.
