    摘要: Cables are utilized to both charge components of an auditory prosthesis and transmit data signals between components of the auditory prosthesis. The cable is configured so as to enable a recipient to charge her device without having to lose the hearing function of the auditory prosthesis. Connectors can be utilized to connect to the various components of the auditory prosthesis, as well as to a discrete power source. The cable can be connected directly to each component of the auditory prosthesis or can be connected via cables that are already a part of the auditory prosthesis.

    摘要: A passive vibration cancellation system manufactured of a plurality of waterproof diaphragms and a more rigid support structure is sized to cover a microphone of an auditory prosthesis. The system includes multiple flexible diaphragms that deform in opposite directions when acted upon by sound, but deform in the same direction when acted upon by vibrations. The system can further include a collar or other compliant element to help secure a microphone assembly into the auditory prosthesis housing, while further reducing vibration transmission between the housing and the microphone.
