    摘要： A hydrophilic film forming composition includes (A) a hydrophilic polymer having a silane coupling group at the terminal thereof; (B) an alkoxide compound of an element selected from Si, Ti, Zr and Al; and (C) a compound selected from a compound (C-1) and a compound (C-2), wherein the compound (C-1) has at least one silane coupling group and at least one acidic group or its salt in the molecule thereof, and the compound (C-2) has at least one functional group that reacts with a hydrolysate of a silane coupling group or with a hydrolytic condensate of a metal alkoxide and at least one acidic group or its salt in the molecule thereof.

    摘要： A polyester resin for a toner is a polycondensate of a carboxylic acid component and an alcohol component including rosin diol that is represented by the following formula (1) and has an alicyclic structure (alicyclic alcohol), wherein R1 and R2 each independently represents hydrogen or a methyl group, L1 represents a divalent linking group having an alicyclic structure, L2 and L3 each independently represents a divalent linking group selected from a group consisting of a carbonyl group, a carboxyl group, an ether group, a sulfonyl group, a chain-like alkylene group which may have a substituent, a cyclic alkylene group, a phenylene group, and combinations thereof, and A1 and A2 represent a rosin ester group, provided that a divalent linking group having the alicyclic structure represented by L1 may be a divalent linking group having an alicyclic structure formed through linking with any of R1, R2, L2 or L3.

    摘要： To provide a lithographic printing plate precursor capable of obtaining a plenty of sheets of good printed matters with practical energy dosage, which is excellent in on-press developing property and press life, and capable of reducing pollution of fountain solution, and provide a lithographic printing method. The lithographic printing plate precursor comprises a support having provided thereon an image-recording layer, which lithographic printing plate precursor is mounted on a printing press and imagewise exposed, or mounted on the printing press after imagewise exposure, and then developed by feeding printing ink and/or a fountain solution, wherein at least a part of the unexposed part of the image-recording layer is not dissolved in the printing ink, the fountain solution or both of them, and removed by falling out of film, and the invention provides a lithographic printing method using the same.
