摘要: Performance on snowy roads is improved. Provided is a pneumatic tire, of which the mounting orientation on a vehicle is indicated. An outer middle land part is formed between a first major groove and a second major groove. The first major groove has first portions and second portions alternately formed in the tire circumferential direction, the second portions being wider than the first portions. The outer middle land part is provided with a plurality of middle inclined grooves not directly interconnected with either the first major groove or the second major groove, a plurality of outer middle lug grooves connecting the second portions of the first major groove and the middle inclined grooves, and inner middle lug grooves connecting the middle inclined grooves and the second major groove. The outer middle lug grooves are provided to different positions in the tire circumferential direction than the inner middle lug grooves.

摘要: A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion with an unsymmetrical tread pattern that includes a circumferentially extending first main groove at a nearest side of an inboard tread edge, a circumferentially extending second main groove adjacent to the first main groove, and a middle land portion arranged therebetween. The middle land portion is provided with a plurality of inclined grooves, a plurality of inboard middle lateral grooves including one end communicated with the first main groove and the other end communicated with the inclined groove, and a plurality of outboard middle lateral grooves including one end communicated with the second main groove and the other end communicated with the inclined groove. Respective groove center points of the inboard middle lateral grooves are arranged in different places in the circumferential direction of the tire from respective groove center points of the outboard middle lateral grooves.

摘要: To be capable of preventing deterioration of uniformity after puncture repair while suppressing running noise.[Solution] A pneumatic tire 1 comprises a noise damper 20 fixed to a tire inner cavity surface of a tread portion 2 and formed of a porous material. The noise damper 20 includes a first part 23 arranged on an outer side in a tire radial direction and fixed to the tire inner cavity surface 16, and a second part 24 arranged on an inner side in the tire radial direction of the first part 23 and exposed in a tire inner cavity 17. A water absorption rate of the first part 23 calculated by a following formula (1) is in a range of from 5% to 25%. Air permeability of the second part 24 measured in accordance with Japanese Industrial Standard JIS-L1096 is in a range of from 1 to 7 cm3/cm2/s. The formula (1) is: water absorption rate (%)=weight change before and after immersion (g)/volume at 50% compression (cm3)×100 (1).

摘要: The present invention provides a method of increasing production of amorpha-4,11-diene and a method of increasing production of natural rubber. The present invention relates to a method of increasing production of amorpha-4,11-diene which includes the step of attaching an enzyme inhibitor to Arabidopsis thaliana into which has been introduced a gene encoding amorphadiene synthase. The enzyme inhibitor inhibits at least one enzyme other than amorphadiene synthase, that catalyzes an enzymatic reaction in which farnesyl diphosphate acts as a substrate. The present invention also relates to a method of increasing production of natural rubber which includes the step of attaching an enzyme inhibitor to a rubber-producing plant. The enzyme inhibitor inhibits at least one enzyme other than enzymes involved in natural rubber synthesis, that catalyzes an enzymatic reaction in which farnesyl diphosphate acts as a substrate.

Each of the plurality of blocks includes a land surface that forms a part of a tread surface. In the tread surface, a total area of the land surfaces is smaller than a total area of a portion other than the land surfaces. A complex elastic modulus at a maximum strain amplitude of 1% and a temperature of 70° C. of each block is not less than 10.0 MPa. A 300% modulus at a temperature of 75° C. of each block is not greater than 6.0 MPa.

The present invention relates to a mutant protein, wherein at least one amino acid residue selected from the group consisting of amino acid residues at positions 91, 225, 257, 287, 339, 411, 470, 509 and 574 of the Arabidopsis thaliana 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl CoA reductase shown by SEQ ID NO:1 and amino acid residues at positions corresponding to the foregoing in 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl CoA reductase is deleted or replaced with another amino acid residue.
