摘要： Disclosed is a method for providing first and second interleaved bit streams to a modulator in order to transmit the first and second interleaved bit streams through at least two antennas in a mobile communication system. An encoder encodes a transmission data stream into a first bit stream with first priority and a second bit stream with second priority being lower than the first priority. An interleaver interleaves the first and second bit streams into the first and second interleaved bit streams. The modulator modulates the first and second interleaved bit streams. The method comprises distributing the first interleaved bit stream into first assignment bit streams for the respective antennas and the second interleaved bit stream into second assignment bit streams for the respective antennas according to power condition information of the respective antennas; and generating combination bit streams by combining the first assignment bit streams and the second assignment bit streams, distributed according to the respective antennas, and providing the generated combination bit streams to the modulator.

摘要： Disclosed a transmission apparatus in a CDMA mobile communication system. Transmission frames each have a plurality of time slots, and each of the time slots includes two data parts having the same length, a midamble intervening between the data parts, and a guard period for dividing the consecutive time slots. The transmission apparatus modulates the frames into a radio signal with a modulation signal and transmits the modulated radio signal using a plurality of antennas. A power amplifier amplifies the radio signal. A controller generates a switching control signal in a guard period of time slots of a frame associated with the radio signal amplified by the power amplifier. A switch switches the amplified radio signal from the power amplifier between a first and a second antenna in response to the switching control signal.

摘要： A mobile communication apparatus having an antenna array and a mobile communication method performed in the mobile communication apparatus, wherein the mobile communication apparatus includes a base station and mobile station, each having an antenna array. The mobile station measures the downlink characteristics of a channel for each antenna from a signal received from a base station, determines long-term information in which the correlation property of the channel for each antenna has been reflected from the measured downlink characteristics, transforms the long-term information into a feedback signal, and transmits the feedback signal to the base station. The base station receives the feedback signal, restores the long-term information from the received feedback signal, performs basis mapping and basis transformation on a dedicated physical channel signal using the restored long-term information, adds the basis-mapped and basis-transformed signal to each of pilot channel signals, and transmits the addition results to the mobile station.

In the case where an MS supporting a different antenna transmission diversity scheme enters the service area of a 4-antenna transmission diversity UTRAN, the UTRAN can transmit pilot signals and common data signals to the MS without the need of modifications to the MS. Therefore, power is distributed among antennas of the UTRAN and system capacity is increased.

摘要： Provided are a mobile communication apparatus including an antenna array and a mobile communication method. The mobile communication apparatus has a base station and a mobile station. The mobile station measures the downlink characteristics, detects physical space information and approximate long-term information, produces short-term informatio, transforms the short-term information and the physical space information into a feedback signal, and transmits the feedback signal to the base station. The base station receives the feedback signal, extracts weighted information, beamforms dedicated physical channel signals, combines pilot channel signals with the result of the beamforming, and transmits the results of the combinations to the mobile station via the antenna array. The physical space information denotes space information about the location of the mobile station with respect to the base station, and the approximate long-term information denotes long-term information. Accordingly, degradation of the performance of communications caused by a great amount of information to be fed back station can be prevented while keeping a beamforming gain.

摘要： Apparatus and method are disclosed for selecting a transmit antenna diversity scheme according to a variation speed of a fading channel in a mobile communication system. A user equipment (UE) estimates a channel response of a pilot channel by receiving a pilot channel signal from a Node B; estimates a variation speed of a fading channel by using the estimated channel response and determining a transmit antenna diversity scheme suitable to the variation speed of the fading channel; and transmits feedback information including the determined transmit antenna diversity scheme to the Node B, so that the Node B can determine a transmit antenna diversity scheme for a channel signal to be transmitted to the UE based on the transmit antenna diversity scheme information included in the feedback information. In this way, the Node B adaptively applies a transmit antenna diversity according to a channel condition.

摘要： In a mobile communication system, if a UE enters a SHO (Soft Handover) region, the UE determines weight information for a DPCH and a PDSCH depending on DPCH signals and PDSCH signals received from Node Bs, and transmits the determined weight information to the Node Bs. The Node Bs then determine weights of the DPCH signals and the PDSCH signals to be transmitted to the UE depending on the feedback information received from the UE, and transmit the determined weights to the UE along with the DPCH signals and the PDSCH signals, respectively.
