    摘要: An apparatus and a method are provided for detecting N number of TX signals in a MIMO wireless communication system. The apparatus includes an RF processor, a channel estimator, and a signal detector. The RF processor converts signals, received through multiple antennas, into baseband signals. The channel estimator estimates channel information of the respective antennas by using the received signals. The signal detector arranges the baseband signals of the respective antennas on the basis of the channel information, calculates a threshold value of each stage, and selects symbols with a cumulative metric smaller than or equal to the threshold value as candidates at each stage, to detect a TX signal vector with N number of symbols.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method are provided for detecting N number of TX signals in a MIMO wireless communication system. The apparatus includes an RF processor, a channel estimator, and a signal detector. The RF processor converts signals, received through multiple antennas, into baseband signals. The signal detection method and apparatus includes selecting a symbol corresponding to a lowest branch metric from among symbols, the number of which corresponds to a modulation scheme, determining a candidate symbol by extending a process of selecting a symbol corresponding to a lowest branch metric from among the selected symbols, to a number which is less by one than the number of the transmit antennas, setting an accumulated branch metric of the candidate symbol as a threshold, removing a symbol having an accumulated branch metric higher than the threshold, and selecting, as a last received symbol, a symbol corresponding to a path having the lowest accumulated branch metric among paths selected without being removed until a last stage.

A MIMO receiving apparatus includes a detection priority decision unit, which receives via N receiving antennas signals transmitted from M transmitting antennas and determines the detection priorities of the signals, and a signal detector, which successively detects the signals in a decreasing order from a signal having a higher priority according to the detection priorities determined by the detection priority decision unit. System complexity can be reduced by minimizing the number of the inverse matrix calculations required for an SIC mechanism using one MIMO DFE and MISO DFEs corresponding to the number of transmitting antennas.

    摘要: An image forming device for transmitting and receiving an email message and a method for transmitting and receiving an email message by an image forming device. The image forming device includes a communication unit, a memory unit, an email processing unit, an email preparing unit, and a controller. The communication unit is connected to a network connected to a predetermined terminal device and performs data communication with the terminal device. The memory unit stores a pre-processed data file. The email processing unit detects the content of any email messages that are transmitted from the terminal device and received through the communication unit. The email preparing unit prepares an email message to be transmitted to the terminal device. If the content of the email message includes a data transmission command that requests the sending of a first data file among data files stored in the memory unit, the controller controls the email preparing unit and the communication unit to prepare and transmit an email message attaching the first data file. Accordingly, it is possible for a user to easily copy data from the image forming apparatus to the terminal device.
