    摘要: A process for the stabilization of an aqueous acrylamide solution is described which includes adding at least one compound selected from water-soluble monocarboxylic acid salts having at least two carbon atoms to an aqueous solution of acrylamide in an amount of from 20 to 5,000 ppm as acid per acrylamide. According to the present invention, a high purity aqueous acrylamide solution which is markedly stable, even under an iron surface-contacting condition, without causing problems such as the polymerization of acrylamide can be provided by adding a water-soluble monocarboxylic acid salt having at least two carbon atoms.

    摘要: In the production of a dried acrylamide polymer by polymerizing, in an aqueous medium, acrylamide alone or a monomer mixture comprising 50 mole % or more of acrylamide and at least one monomer copolymerizable therewith with a radical initiator, and then drying the resulting hydrous acrylamide polymer, the allowing of at least one of the following compounds [I], [II] and [III] to be present in the drying step or a step prior thereto enables the dried acrylamide polymer having a high molecular weight and a good dissolvability in water to be obtained:[I] a non-polymerizable compound having in its molecule at least one group represented by the formula, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is H or an alkyl group having up to 4 carbon atoms, [II] a compound represented by the formula, R.sub.2 --S--C.sub.n H.sub.2n X wherein n is an integer of 1 to 8, R.sub.2 is an alkyl group, an aryl group or --C.sub.n H.sub.2n X, in which X is --OH, --COOH (or its salt), --CN or --CONH.sub.2, and[III] a compound represented by the formula, ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are H, alkali metals or alkyl or aryl groups.

    摘要: A method for the cultivation of bacteria of the genus Pseudomonas capable of producing nitrile hydratase is disclosed. The method involves adding a water soluble copper compound in an amount of about 0.5 to 5.0 mg/l as calculated in terms of copper to a culture medium in the preparation of cells of the bacteria under shear force supplied by stirring blades, wherein the circumferential speed of the edges of the stirring blades exceeds about 2.5 m/sec. The water soluble copper compound is preferrably copper chloride, copper sulfate, copper nitrate, copper acetate, copper tartrate, copper (II) acetylacetonate or copper (II) ETDA.

    摘要: The present invention is intended to provide an image recognition method which, in recognizing an input image including an object presumable to have continuity like a human figure, enables simultaneously detecting the shape of the object in the input image and cutting-out the object therefrom, and obtaining information on position of the object at the same time, and which also enables recognition of two objects having the same shape but having different sizes. The processing procedure of image recognition according to the present invention consists of: inputting an input frame image of an object by image data inputting means; preparing scaled-down images 1 to n at different resolutions by image size reducing means; calculating neighborhood correlation values for respective scaled-down images 1 to n by neighborhood correlation processing means and checking relationship between them at the same time; calculating the area and the gravity center of each image using pixel values and pixel coordinate value; identifying respective objects at respective resolution on the basis of their relationship; determining shape correlation of each object; and recognizing the shape of each object by comparing the obtained shape auto-correlation with a previously determined reference value.
